implantation bleeding? Does it happen?

Hi there,

I hate this to be such a tmi but looking at the pregnancy board this is a flash in the pan. :)

Question for anyone that might know. What is a implantation bleed like? I was commuting home from work tonight and when I went to the bathroom I noticed that I was bleeding. Now.. I am TTC and a little loopy and desperate for signs but I have never ever bled before outside a cycle and the weird thing is its stopped completely. I have no cramps and 10 or so days from my period. It wasn't heavy but was noticeable, if that makes sense. Anyone offer an experience if you have had implantation sign and if this sounds like one.

Yes, it happened to me and sounds almost exactly like you describe. Think it was a few days closer to my period date though. I cried as I had been TTC for a few months (yes, it can send you loopy!). Then it stopped. Got BFP a week or so later I think (first response).

Try not to get your hopes up just it case but...it could be.

My DS is almost 13 months old.

Hi, it can and does happen - I had it myself, pink spotting like the start of a period, lasted a couple of days, stopped and started again for another couple of days. I got my bfp in between the two lots of bleeding.

It started on the day AF was due though, ten days before sounds a bit early - it could be ovulation bleeding? Fingers crossed it is the real thing though!

Yes, I had it too, a little bit of pink blood when I wiped at about 8 dpo.
