EWCM question

So like a good TTC girl I'm DTD every other day since my period.
My question is how can I tell the difference between EWCM and the result of DTD if you know what I mean?

EWCM if put between your fingers stretches further, has greater elasticity.

Semen is tackier and will break if you try and stretch it.

Hmmm, stretch how far? I got about an inch out of this but then I DTD this morning. (both on holiday you see)

In taking charge of your fertility she suggests doing pelvic floor exercises half an hour after swi on your way to the loo. Not too soon or you'll push the swimmers out! But after half an hour the good ones will be well on their way!

Apparently ewcm is not absorbent whereas man product () is so if you wipe it will be left on top but his will quickly sink in. A lot more to this ttc than meets the eye

Or if you're not sure apparently you can drop it in a glass, ewcm will sink I think...just never drink from.the glass again!

Why can I not just have a flashing light that says 'now, have the sexytime now'.

Am now convinced i do have EWCM, just when Fertility Friend said I should do. Hurrah.

Hurrah! I can only find mine by having a good root around searching, using two fingers to reach my cervix and trap it between them! Then in my head I say 'ewcm! Go, go, GO!'!

I so so clueless with all this its a miracle I already have 3dc!

1st month ttc #4 so am reading up on all the conception threads, think I may have had what you are describing over the weekend and we did dtd several times so fingers crossed (although realistically what are the chances of it happening on month 1?!)

When you get the ewcm does that mean you are ovulating right then or are about to? How much of a window do you have to try and succeed?

Also what is swi?

Given that you've got 3 already I would have thought you'd know what to do by now!

ewcm keeps the sperm all nourished and safe for a bit longer than normal. From what I understand you get it just before you ovulate.

Oh the window varies between individuals. I'll only find ewcm maybe once in my cycle. Basically if you see it, try to have sex! But you'll usually be fertile for a bit around it (I think I'm fertile for a couple of days before I see ewcm).

For those who may be interested I did all the tests on it just now.
Stretched about an inch, didn't absorb into the paper and didn't dissolve in water. It's all very interesting in a gross kind of way.

Well done on the science experiment pipbin haha it is interesting in such a weird way! Hope you were in a lockable room at the time or can you imagine trying to explain that one...
