Ladies, here we are.
Let's crack on.

OP posts:
GenericDietCola · 20/08/2011 20:32

Biscuits I'm with you on the big boob front (ahem) - I'm a G cup. Actually, they don't look that big, but bra shopping is a nightmare for me too. I used to go to Bravissimo, but there are a couple of cheaper places online. Fortunately I managed to get G cup maternity/BF bras, just with a bigger ribcage size. I got mine from Mothercare, but I think G may be the biggest they do and I was so embarrassed and worried they wouldn't fit me (and relieved when they did).

Late I can relate to the post-mc obsession/anxiety. I've had two mcs and one DD. I had my ERPC in early April and have been ttc since then. I'm sure it will happen for us both soon. If you had a pos opk soon after your ERPC, could you be pg again right now? Sometimes it can take a while to get your AF back, but other people ov straight away so it's definitely possible!

GenericDietCola · 20/08/2011 20:33

Ninja here's to your ironic BFP this month!

NinjaChipmunk · 20/08/2011 20:48

cheers m'dear! Wine

CakePigeon · 20/08/2011 21:54

Oh no biscuits don't weep Sad bra shopping is upsetting for me too, mainly because no bra makes me look like I have boobs. So I try not to go very often Blush should really buy new bras!

I've spent a fair bit of the evening in the bathroom being ill. Hopefully this is a sign of my progressing pregnancy and not a progressing illness Sad DH is drinking wine and watching a film, I am jealous!

GenericDietCola · 20/08/2011 22:05

Oh Cake you poor thing, although that's probably just more evidence of your upduffedness...

NinjaChipmunk · 20/08/2011 22:06

oh cake you poor thing. surely your dp should be holding your hair and saying soothing things and passing you glasses of water? I am sure its impending pregnancy symptoms, hopefully it will pass soon

Biscuitsandtea · 20/08/2011 22:24

Cake you poor thing being ill! I do hope this is a sign of your updiffedness. And I hope DH is being kind and stroking your hair.

CakePigeon · 20/08/2011 22:40

Love the idea of boob equalisation!

Thank you for the ginger biscuits and sympathy Smile I think it is all out of my system now -yuk!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 20/08/2011 23:19

I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well Cake, don't worry it should pass in about 12 weeks Wink. And Ninja it's just such a shame your doctor is going to all this trouble arranging these tests for you when you'll have confirmed your pregnancy before your next appointment! Grin

Sounds like I'm right in the middle of your ladies in terms of bras! I've been a DD since I was about 18, but back then I was a size 10/12. Since getting married a couple of years ago I've been putting on weight constantly Blush I'm now a size 14 which is so frustrating when I don't even have a baby to attribute it to! So far my cup size hasn't gone up with all this weight gain fortunately (although my chest size has Sad ) I'm actually a little worried that while pg/bf my boobs will swell up, and then after the bf they'll deflate back to a DD (which is fine) but this time they'll be really saggy! I guess that's just part of the reality of being a mother, but it's one of the downsides!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 21/08/2011 07:09

Well this morning the internet cheapies are giving me a little more love, which is nice Smile but the FRER seems unchanged Sad it's still much fainter than I'd like, and looks the same as my very first FRER at 11 DPO (it's now 14 DPO). However I'm SUPER grateful that the lines keep coming up at all, and I'll be continuing to eat huge amounts of veg and doing lots of positive visualisation of little Squeak settling in. After four days of faint lines I'm actually getting MORE excited! I'll be continuing my daily poas though, in the hope of getting a strong line soon.

The earliest AF would have been due (if I wasn't brooking no argument from her whatsoever!) would have been tomorrow, and if she was in line with my longest cycle it would have been next Friday, so I'll be taking next week one day at a time. Squeak and I can do this, we're both equally stubborn determined!

Where is everyone?

Biscuitsandtea · 21/08/2011 08:14

Good job Scream on getting those Internet cheapies in line Smile and a line is still a line on the FR one!

Think about it - you're still testing before AF due so as you say just keep taking it one day at a time - we'll all be brooking no argument whatsoever on your behalf. Each day is another one ticked off Grin.

CakePigeon · 21/08/2011 08:25

Hello I have been debating with DH as to whether I was allowed to test early. I won, which I now regret as it was a BFN. But I'm sure it's just too early and I'll get right back to brooking no argument! It simply isn't fair for me to feel sick and crampy all week and actually just be ill - that would be just boring!

Well done for all of those lines scream you must have quite a collection now Grin

jaggythistle · 21/08/2011 08:32

I've actually not tested at all since yesterday morning Shock

Good job scream and keep on brooking no argument cake :)

Am saving CBD and some Asda ones I bought this morning for tomorrow when AF normally due.

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 21/08/2011 08:35

Oh Cake! How frustrating that the evil pee sticks are keeping you in suspense!! You've got SO MANY signs though, it's absolutely clear that this month is your month, and your confirmation will be along shortly!

Which type of pee stick are you using? I got BFNs at 10 DPO as well, but just 24 hours later the FRER gave me an awesome surprise! The internet cheapies are particularly disapproving of early testing, so if you're using those it might take just a day or two longer.

Implantation can take anywhere from 6 to 12 days, so your sweet little Cakelet could still be busily working it's way down and hasn't got around to churning out enough hcg for those fussy pee sticks yet. It's so early you still have loads of time to get those pee sticks in order! You are SO updiffed!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 21/08/2011 08:37

Jaggy I am incredibly impressed that you have actually left your house, done an Asda shop, and returned, all by 8.30 on a Sunday morning! Wow!

scarletfingernail · 21/08/2011 08:54

Ninja you will definitely be getting your BFP before your next appointment. You will be in the next round of mass BFPs.

Generic has the shagathon started?

Late I've just seen your post from yesterday. It is possible you are pg now. I ovulated 3 days after I stopped bleeding from my first MC and became pg. Sadly I did go on to MC again, only 8 weeks on from my first MC but there's many stories on MN where the second time was successful. You could always POAS and find out?

I peed on another internet cheapie this morning and am pleased to say that the line was much stronger. (When I run out of them I won't buy any more, so another 10 to go, plus 2 CBs and 1 FR to go!)

The last 4 days have gone soooooo slowly. I caved on Friday and told my best friend. I will not be telling anyone else though, at least not until I've had an early scan. If for any reason my MW won't refer me for one at 8 weeks, we've already decided to pay for a private one. There's no way I can wait until 12. I'm feeling a lot more positive now, but still have moments where sheer panic takes over and I convince myself it will all go wrong before that.

Good work with your internet cheapies scream, if AF is not due until the end of next week and you're getting lines already you might be having twins Shock Do you have twins in your family?

Well done jaggy for stepping away from the tests.

How are you doing this morning dream?

jaggythistle · 21/08/2011 09:05

Haha Scream, I am so not that efficient Grin

I just went in on the way to work for emergency lunch and just happened to pass the pg tests (right at the back of the shop)...

Can't wait for today to be over and have 2 days off with my boys!

My test count stands at 1 CBD 19 cheapies and 2 Asda left..

CakePigeon · 21/08/2011 09:08

Thank you for the positive vibes scream it was an internet cheapie so I'll obviously have to try a bit harder to convince the next one!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 21/08/2011 09:39

Scarlet I wish there was twins in my family! Unfortunately there aren't (although DH has one set of identical twins as cousins - distant I know!) I think I'd be getting strong lines by now if it was twins anyway, rather than still getting such faint ones. The only reason my AF cancellation date hasn't passed yet is because I have a fairly long luteal phase of around 17 days (which I'm grateful for! It'll give Squeak that little bit of extra snuggling in time!).

Jaggy phew! I thought you were some kind of superwoman! It's a shame you can't have a Sunday lie-in though, I'm glad you've got the next couple of days off to dance around with all your positive pee sticks!

Good luck to all those on the shagathon!!!

jaggythistle · 21/08/2011 10:11

Well if I do an Asda, a cheapie and a CBD and they are all sensible, that will be a few to dance about with Blush

jaggythistle · 21/08/2011 10:12

What's a lie in by the way? DS doesn't seem to get the idea of sleeping past 7 ever. Except if i am already at work and it doesn't matter Grin

dreamfeeder · 21/08/2011 11:19

jaggy, DD doesn't get lie-ins either. never mind.

I am Absolutely Banned from MN by dh who has had enough so this is a sneaky post to say I will come on once a day (prob evening). Boo!!!

I am up for boob equalisation Smile. What a fantastic idea!!!

cake, just too early to convince an internet cheapie i'm sure. With all those millions of symptoms it would be very rude and not at all likely you're not pg. You just tell those sticks you're Brooking No Argument next time. Grin

scarlet, I am slightly maybe calmer this morning. I realise the main reason i wasn't worried last time was probably that I got pg 8 weeks before I got married. So i was busy busy busy, working full time, organising the wedding (as we did all table decorations, invites, menus etc etc ourselves) and we only planned the whole thing with 15 weeks to go. Then 2 weeks honeymoon with huge amounts of puking- in fact, ended up at the emergency GP with intractable vomiting after puking every 10-15 min for over 6 hours... So as you can imagine, my honeymoon was not the height of romance. HEURGHHHHHHH!!!! Enough said.

So this time I have decided to Brook No Argument about morning sickness. As in this time I'm not having ANY. Before DD I was vegetarian and an exercise fanatic pretty healthy lifestyle kind of gal. I stopped running at 11 weeks with her as I got a dragging feeling when I ran, but carried on obsessively swimming and walking til the day before I had her. Like, 5 miles a day walking, and 2 miles a week swimming.... I'd convinced myself if I was still fit, labour would be a breeze! I think it would have been great had i not been unable to do all the walking round, squatting etc i'd planned as stuck monitored to the bed. Now, I'm barely running, not swimming, and still at my thinnest so puking like last time is Not An Option. Hear that BabyDream?!

scream, one baby is plenty in my experience Grin. If its still so early that'll be why there's a faint line. I waited til my longest ever AF date to test, (think if i hadn't got pg my cycle might have been my more normal length) and must have ov'd slightly earlier than I'd thought to be getting such whopping lines from the beginning. You have shown the internet cheapie you mean business, the FR will see sense soon Grin. Meanwhile, visualise yourself, sylph-like with lovely bump, wafting round in maternity dress, flicking through baby catalogues, blooming happily

jenfraggle · 21/08/2011 14:04

Right generic, solars and golden, we are going to stick together and jolly well confirm our obvious pregnancies to catch up with all these other preggos. DH has been told I've discussed and agreed with DH that the shagathon will commence tomorrow

CakePigeon · 21/08/2011 14:29

Oh no dream we will miss you! I will continue my battle with the Internet cheapies until i get one of them to agree with me Grin I hope you succeed in your campaign to be free of sickness this time round

Good luck with your shagathon jen DH and I put some serious effort in this month and swi for over 2 weeks with only 1 day off - we will both be super annoyed if this marathon effort doesn't yield results!

ScreamIfYouWantToGoFaster · 21/08/2011 14:55

Shagathon's really work! DH and I hit cycle days 4,6,8,9,10 (ov day - twice!), 11,13,15,17,19 this time round! Not quite up to Dream's platinium efforts of course! Still pretty tiring though, lol.

Cake you are SO updiffed, your confirmed BFP is just a day or two away! Good luck to everyone starting their shagathon!
