Another "period late, BFN" thread....but need hand holding please!

So many times people have a late period and a BFN. And today it is me!

I am on clomid (cycle 8) and so am v used to never being pregnant. However, period always arrives on day 34 (has done every clomid cycle). And today is day 36 and still nothing. 2 days late. Boobs still more tender then usual, but no other "symptoms".

Took the plunge of POAS this morning (after barely sleeping) and it was BFN.

I'm not surprised, as have only ever seen BFN. But I really had got my hopes up. We're waiting for the IVF referral to go through, so would've been lovely not to need it.

Any other clomid ladies who havd variable cycle lengths....and anyone just able to commiserate with me today?!

Oh how annoying :( it's horrid not knowing isn't it and having your hopes up. No experience of clomid but ive been late with symptoms and then bfn (and eventually af)

Still no sign today, but pretty certain that if I was pregnant, it would've shown by now. So just an AWOL AF!!

I'm also in bfn, no af limbo. Had this 3 months ago and was googling like crazy, finding every 'my bfp didnt show up for x days' thread the internet had to offer. Am much more guarded about letting my imagination run wild with me this time. Imagine af is just messing about again. pffft.
