What can make your cycle become irregular???

Hi ladies

Came off the pill in November and first 6 months averaged 29 days, however last cycle was 37 and currently on cd41 af does look as if on it's way as had spotting when wiping. I'm currently ttc #3 and fell pregnant on my fourth cycle with my other 2 pregnancies. Spoke to gp and he has agreed to run some blood tests at the end of the month if not pg, but was just wondering what can make your cycles become haywire??

No major stresses in my life and not stressing too much about having another baby, work busy but not stressful.

Any thoughts??TIA

Hormonal imbalances are commonly to blame for such problems. In this regard blood tests should be done to see if either problems with the thyroid gland or a condition called polycystic ovaries is present.

Thank you for replying, the gp did say he was going to test my thyroid.

Any other thoughts anyone???

I've had this and they found nothing wrong. Mine went very close together.
