metformin & xenical

Hi,

I am trying to concieve but I am overweight so GP has suggested I lose a couple of stones. She has prescribed me xenical and metformin has anyone else ever used this and got pregnant as a result?

You won't get pregnant as a result but you might be in better shape when you do. Xenical blocks the fat receptors in the liver so fat literally can stick, and comes out the other end! Metformin can help with pcos I think. Neither are anything at all to do with fertility, strictly speaking. Good luck.
