Hiya, I always ovulated on day 11 up until I had this last m/c, now it's 20, unfortunately for me! It was never a problem, cycles in fact go quicker. The crucial thing is that your luteal phase is 10 days or more in order to sustain a pgcy. That is if you ov day 11 and your period comes on day 26 then you have a healthy 15 days luteal phase. The normal range I beleive is 24-34 days for a cycle, but anything goes as long as you;re ov'g!! HTH!!!

Hi again, I do have a dd who has just turned 3. She is desperate for a bro or sis as all her little friends have siblings, she feels left out and would love to help care for a baby. I am sorry that you too have been so unlucky trying to have a baby and I can only say that you ahve conceived these 2, so I would hope you can go for it again. I was talking to a friend last night. She took 2 years to have her first and fell pg straight away with her second. Her best friend lost her first at 30 weeks. It's amazing how many people I know that have had either difficulty conceiing or m/c or both.
I have had the initial blood tests and I did ov last month but have failed to ov this month. Have you looked at the St Mary's website? It is very good. They have loads of info on mc. Also their head Doc there has a book 'when a miscarriage happens'. Have you read it? It really does give a good insight into reasons why. Both mine were diff gestations. so I presume diff reasons for why. Have you had any tests done at all?

Hi - i have met with the professor at st mary's who wrote the book - she is great and after loads of tests found that the m/c werejus a case of "bad luck" - you are lucky you have a DD - by the way how old are you?? currently i am hung up on being too old for all of this !!!

No you are not too old!!! I went out with some girls the other night, some Mums and others not. 3 out of 4 of the Mums were late 30's, 2 wanted a baby but it wasn't happening for one reason or another and they were also late 30's. One lady had 3 all her her 30's. Then myself and another girl both had our first at 26. I am now almost 30.
How did you manage to get an apoointment with her? I thought they would only refer after 3 (bad I know but I suppose they would have so many seeing her if it was 2 every time)I hope it doesn't come to a third m/c butI have to be prwepared for that.
