Anyones PCOS 'correct' itself after first child?

Heard this can happen! :) Anyone got any lovely experiences to get my hopes up?

My PCOS symptoms have pretty much disappeared since I had DS 3 years ago. Periods are now regular as clockwork, when they used to be all over the place.
I've heard that this is fairly common.

Ooooh! This is something to look forward to. Just got to get pregnant and stay pregnant now!

My friend had pcos, 3 years ttc, got pg last month of clomid. Dc#2 was a surprise, she is now fully aware that she ovulates and can tell each month! So yes happy ending for her :) good luck!

The symptoms with regards to PCOS can improve (losing any excess pounds can indeed help) but the cystic follicles associated with this condition always return. No one therapy or treatment will completely eradicate PCOS.
