How many dpo did you get a positive pregnancy result on a home pregnancy test?

Just curious? I am 11 dpo & tested this morning, there seems to be the faintest of faint lines but very thin in comparison with the control window line, I think I may be imagining it? I will test again tomo but just wondering if you can get a positive hpt that early? Thanks

I am having weird symptoms now, I have a strange taste in my mouth (not sure if it's metallic or if it's my imagination) but we had a weird dinner with anchovies in it so it might be that. I am also starving again! And my belly has swollen. Though thats probably cos I ate a ton of biscuits there :o

I am away to bed now (I'm knackered too but I'm always knackered) but I don't know how I'll sleep. Wish me luck for the morning!

That would be most odd if your weren't pregnant at 26 dpo would it not raisin? Sounds promising although I can understand why you would be feeling cautious.

I couldn't sleep so ended up testing again at 230am. It's a bfn :( Absolutely no faint line this time so I think it must have been an evaporation line or something.

I'm ok though, it was out first month ttc again so not too surprising really. And I can now go on my holiday & eat camembert & pate lol.

I have another faint line on a frer with fmu this am. Going to get more tests later. Starting to get a bit excited now but want to see a strong line before I really believe it.

It's so weird, I just checked both hpts & the one I did yesterday definitely has a faint line when compared to the one I did this morning. I wonder if it's been a chemical pregnancy then? Or maybe the second test didn't work cos it wasn't early morning pee? (clutching at straws here...)

Do you think I should buy another test? What test is most sensitive?

I got a false positive on one a few months ago and have since discovered the + type ones are the only ones which can give false results. Lots of threads on here with similar puzzled people.

Yes it was that type, grrrrrrrr it sounds like a false positive then! Thanks for the info. Af isn't actually due until saturday so part off me still hopes but I know that I probably am not pregnant.

was it kind of a thin line. not as wide as the control? I googled a lot after mine. we should really complain to clearblue as it seems quite common. I was too in the huff to bother

Yes it was a thin line like hair width, to the left where a thick line should be. Its so annoying, I spent yesterday evolving fantasies in my head re how I would tell dh. Argh to 'not so clear blue'!

get one of the clearblue digitgal ones that gave me my result yesterday, its too stressful reading the lines i wished i had used my digital one sooner than i did. im going to the doctors weds am to confirm the result
