Gutted

Got what looked very much like a positive on a HPT this morning. Made DH come and check- he agreed with me. It was faint, but definitely there. Not sure what cycle day I'm on- period was a bit late, but not sure by how many days (1-7, my cycles vary by a few days). Had already done a few tests which had all come out negative, but as period hadn't arrive was continuing to test. I was so excited.
Then 2 and a half hours later I got my period. Is that not the cruellest thing to happen? Am totally gutted :(

Oh what a shame . Yes that's very cruel.
How long have you been ttc?

Ah, tis our first month ttc, so hadn't really been expecting it to happen this time round, but still... I would have minded less if it had been all negatives and then my period had arrived.
Bollocks. That is all I have to say about it...

Ok well lets hope for better luck next month. I would try and hold out as long as possible before testing if you can. I know that's hard.
