Popping feeling

Does anyone else get this feeling while waiting to see if the egg has fertilised? Have been ttc for two yrs and it always feel like something has popped/burst in my womb as AF gets nearer.

I have heard people describe ovulation as a popping feeling (although I personally don't feel it that way). Could it be that?
