Late period

Hello i'm new here and was looking for a little advice im a 25yr old ttc I had a miscarrige in april of this yr and my cycle varies between 26/28 days my period after the miscarrige arrived on time in may however this month I am nearly 2 wks late I have taken 3 HPT and all are negative, have experienced some early signs of pregnancy this month but am now feeling very confused as to what is going on I have a docs appointment for next week but would love to hear from other mums who have had similar experiences, trying not to get my hopes up but easier said than done.

Hi, I had a miscarriage in October and my cycles have still not settled into a reliable pattern. As yours was so recently :( I think it could still be your body getting back into the swing of things.
It could also possibly be an anovulatory cycle, a chemical pregnancy or stress? Anything really.
I know how you feel though ttc is a tough old business. I hope you have some good news soon :)

I had a miscarriage in may 2008 too, it took me a few months to get bk into the normal cycle again but fell pregnant again in the august.
It could be that your period is delayed with your body trying to get bk regular, but also iv heard of soo many people who have m/c then fallen pregnant straight away so it is possible!!

Thank you both for your replies I have a docs appointment mid week so hopefully I'll know more, im sure that my body is just getting back to normal i'll let you know what happens hopefully it'll be good news :)
