If the pink line is very very faint EVEN when you are over a week late, does this mean..

That the levels are very low?

Im not exactly sure but from what i understand, if a line shows up even if its very faint, you are pregnant!!

It could be that you ovulated later in your cycle than you thought and soo you may not be a week late. I can remember when i tested with DS it was very very faint but then i tested again 3 days later.....just to make sure and it was really dark.

Mayne wait a few days or if you are concerned maybe a trip to gp to have a blood test done just to chk your levels are increasing as they should xx

Thighslapper, I started a thread similar to this a while ago. Shellmc could very well be right in that you may have ovulated late, but I would advise that you test again in a few days. I ended up going to the dr to have a blood test, which quantifies the hCG. Sadly mine was very low after two tests a week apart and we concluded I must have had an early miscarriage. In fact, it was the WTF cycle after a MMC for me, so it's possible that the hCG was left over from that.

Sorry to be negative. I hope very much for you that you ARE pregnant and that everything is going well. When I googled all of this, I did find many stories where people had low hCG levels at first and went on to have healthy pregnancies and babies, so let's hope you're in that bracket. Best of luck! X

Thats prob why its still very faint, try not to worry and re-test in 3-4 days and see if you get a darker line. They say your HCG levels double each day.

My pink line was almost invisable so i thought i was not pregnant and binned the test. Little did i know...i was pregnant!

Even if its very very faint - you are pregnant. It is detecting the HCG levels which are still very low at this stage. If you was not pregnant, there would simply be nothing there. Like i say, my line was very faint and now i got twin girls to prove for it! Why dont you try the digital Clear Blue test? Thats what i did. That will be accurate as it will simply tell you that you are or not Pregnant and it will also tell you how many weeks you are pregnant. Good luck.
