Natural Alternative to Clomid

Hey all,

Due to a recent history of a cyst, my GP won't prescribe me Clomid. I have had blood tests indicating that my progesterone level is low.
Anyhow my question - could anyone recommend any natural alternatives to boost ovulation?

I need to do something, limbo land is no fun.

Is Metformin not a suitable alternative then?

Has GP not referred you to a gynae?. Its not a good idea anyway for a GP to prescribe clomid as it is quite powerful stuff and such patients should be monitored whilst on it through blood tests and ultrasounds. GPs do not have the time to do that.

Do you have an actual diagnosis?. You need that first and foremost.

Self medicating with herbs like Agnus Castus is not recommended as it can make some underlying hormonal problems worse.
