When did your periods return after DC1?

DD1 is 9.5 months & we'd love to start TTC again soon but I'm still BFing & no sign of AF yet!

DD showing no signs of wanting to give up BF yet & I'd like to keep going til at least 12 months but suspect she will want at least bedtime & morning feeds longer than that.

But we really want to get started on attempting DC2!

Any experiences or knowledge to share?

Mine sort of half came back when he was 6 months, when we started weaning, I suppose because he was taking less milk.

They came back properly at 8 months when I weaned him off the breast during the day, although I was still giving him breast feed last thing at night.
