Buddha sorry to hear your ds's ears are playing up again. They have such short tubes in their ears that get easily infected but you sound like you've had to deal with more than your fair share of ear infections.

Well my dd1 has got a ganglion on her wrist which should go away on it's own & dd2's ultrasound on her neck has been postponed until the 26th Sept as the Dr who was supposed to be doing it is off sick.

And now for my other news..... dh pulled me to one side this morning & said "Errrr I've been thinking that maybe errrrrr..... maybe when I come back from San Fran (he's going for a week next week)... errr maybe we should try for another baby" Um what what what WHAT?????!!! My jaw practically hit the ground, I was NOT expecting him to say that. The only downside is that he only wants to give it a few month & if it doesn't happen then it doesn't happen. So, I've ordered a big packet of opk's & renewed my subscription with fertility friend. Oh it feels so good to be back on the small pants bench again!

buddha there is light at the end of the tunnel, i know how crappy ear infections are but you have a date to work towards and soon the shitty things will be a thing of the past. Hold on to that thought as you dose E up with more medicine. It will and it does get better.

mls my edd is now the 12 feb. will have a c section a week before if we are still in dubai. i am too scared to try for a vbac more than happy to keep my fanjo intact and be cut open again! they have concerns re the size of dolly so have been told i will have extra scans at 28 and 34 weeks. If there is not much growth i could be having op at 36 weeks. We shall see. long time off yet.

I just hope that if we come back to the uk i will still be able to have c section. i think my doctor will write me a letter saying about my heart and advise against a vbac.

I have more to write but time escapes me. im here all week with no company, so if you are around feel free to chat to me

oh and a quick question. dd has been invited to a joint party on saturday, a girl we have only met a handful of times. Should i buy a gift for the little boy who is having the party with her and whom we have never met?

maybe a little gift i only say this cos I felt realllly bad going to a double party and taking nothing for the other child.

I was thinking that maybe, just maybe your body knows to have small babies because of your heart? I only say this because as an asthmatic I think that I would be expected to have smaller babies, something like your body only taking on what it knows it can cope with.

A quick post from my new iPad (eid present from wonderful dh) to wish our first graduate a happy 2nd birthday. Can't believe how time has flown! Saara sends a special kiss

Thanks to everyone for your eid messages. Was lovely to be with my nan and family but missed my granddads presence enormously. Travelled across the Yorkshire dales to spend a couple of days in a lovely cottage in the lake district with Saara and 13 others. Have never been here before, it's s o beautiful! DH didn't come up with us so is missing us loads bless him.

Life hopefully returns from normal, so hopefully (with the aid of the iPad once I get the hang of it!) I can go back to posting on a regular basis.

barbie pretty certain that they won't force you to do a VBAC in the UK - most VBAC'ers need to pretty forceful and determined to get what they want. A good friend of mine is 20 weeks and wants a section and has to see a nurse to be counselled first - which she was doing today.

Oh and re the party, we've had a few of these and the answer is that it depends, the good mums only send the invite from one child and then you only need to get them a present. The bad ones ( imo), do the invite from all and then you feel you should get all a present. Which is fine if they are all friends of your dc but not if they are not. Of course, you could always just spend the same amount of money and buy two rubbish presents , one for each, rather than one good one and they might get the message . TBH, if it was me, I'd hate for my dc to get presents from everyone as it would be major overkill. You could always get a card and a really small token for the other child or even just a card?

I second what strawb said. Moon don't feel like you need to offer advice, there are plenty of shoulders here for you to cry on. You are much stronger than you think (even though I know being strong isn't what you want, all you want is a baby), if you weren't strong you wouldn't be on this thread. We will get you through this.

I have been out and walked the dog, done the washing, breakfast, tidying up and its only 9am. Now im ready for dolly to take her first nap so i can crawl back into bed myself!

I'm just weebling along to those asking and worrying bless ya, have moments like yesterday, surely the last person i had to tell we lost the baby?! Also pampers e mail about my 15th wk of pregnancy stupid weeble telling too many too early.. Still no AF, after other ERPCs it arrived 28days later to the minute, so expected it on monday, but after Summer my cycles been around 32 days so who knows? Confess that yesterday i did let my head run away with a what if? But chance is very slim, and tbh, despite a teency bit of excitement at the thought, sensibly i know it would be better to have Af and not be in early days of pregnancy on hol and worrying and not drinking ect, think i need to let my hair down a bit...

Sorry I've not read the other posts yet, I just need to offload though I do see a sparkly new list with mls in her small pants again .

Anyway we just get home from school and cjay tells me the girl that sits next to him is being mean to him then he bursts into tears and it all comes pouring out. He is on a table of four him and three girls. The one girls shares her pencils out but doesn't give him one, he asks for one and she says no. She tells him that she wishes she didn't have to sit next to him and when they laugh at something she will stop laughing and stare at him. I asked him what he does he says he stops laughing and looks back at her. He was so upset and was saying she's bossy. Now I have put together a pencil case for him so he has his own pencils for him and I'm thinking of seeing his teacher too. Is this bullying? I feel so crap for him right now

Work v. busy today, will do a big catch up tomorrow night as DH will be AWOL at Scotland game but just had to post to Vjay

Schoolgirls - meh. Rmember the type well . I would definately have a word with Cjay's teacher as it may not be classed as bullying but its mean and needs to be nipped in the bud especially with Cjay's autism. You don't want him being picked on and these things only get worse as they get nearer the teenage years.

Did you have the chat with him over the summers?
