Why do I always lose long posts....argh
Deep breath....
4ever hang in there my love, just a little longer to wait. You need a distraction to get you through the next 24 hours. Sorry about your Nan
dementia is just awful to witness.
barbie hope you have had a glimmer of sunshine down south and Dolly is behaving and not waking all the hours godsend. The patchy internet signal in Cornwall drives me beserk so I know how you feel. Its hard enough inside ILs house because of the size of the walls.
mermaid so lovely to have you back but I'm
that you are having to deal with so much crap IRL. Spondylitis sounds v painful, hope you are getting some decent painkillers to use when needed. I think anyone going camping deserves a medal. Hope you are getting a bit of sun finally.
vjay that's a tough one, I will be reading the replies with interest because we are going to have to deal with the same issue eventually. What about a book aimed at children with autism, I know they exist but I don't know whether they work. It might be worth looking on the NAS website and see what they have? Also might be worth pm'ing Amberlight as she has ASD and might be able to give you some suggestions.
QA so glad you are ok, you must be getting towards the 3rd trimester now?
buddha I saw that you're still struggling with the big bed? Hang in there, it will take a while for E to settle down and get used to it and any illness will put it back again. We've still got a portable stairgate on DTs bedroom door, mainly to stop Isaac from escaping and causing havoc but it has cut down some of the bedtime high jinks. Hope the appt comes through quickly - what a nightmare!
curly that's tough being away from curlygirl - hope you had a lovely weekend to make up for it. Working when you've got small children can be very hard at times.
cupcake ooh are you getting broody
BQ I'm not sure if I've said already, but Luca is just gorgeous Will your DH get some paternity leave at some point?
neeko so glad you had a lovely holiday
. That place looks fab, its a shame its not further south
blue hope you're ok and enjoying the holidays (when you're not working..)
LBM hope you are surviving the school holidays - bet you've got all sorts of fun planned cos you're a supermum
monkey bonnes vacances!
iggy if you're lurking - happy 1st birthday to your gorgeous DD. Hope you are getting a bit more sleep now!
I've almost certainly missed someone, I'm sorry!
I am hoping this week is going to be less manic than the previous 7. Only one appointment for Isaac, no relatives staying/visiting and time to actually sit down and rest MN. I've stopped bfing O as the last time I tried he wasn't having any of it. I am still expressing though and am giving him 2 bottles of BM a day. We went to Paultons Park (theme park) on Friday with all the boys and I was expressing going down the M3. Was a challenge
. We had a fab time but they were exhausted for the rest of the weekend and really grotty. They've now both got colds and Luke was awake in the night with a really croupy cough. O is a little sweetheart, still waiting for him to smile though, he's 7.5 weeks (3.5 corrected) so I'm hoping it comes soon.
I am feeling like a beached whale as I seem to be the only person in the universe who can bf and put on weight
. The same thing happened last time. So the exercise regime started today with the 30 day shred. I am hoping that I lose at least a stone by the end of the 30 days . Nothing fits and its just depressing me. It would help if I could stop eating crap! Right, must go, have a long list of things to do, starting with ordering Isaac's school uniform...
