Barbie Sorry to hear Dolly is upset today Sad is she still poorly? Hope your Mum's op goes well and she has a speedy recovery hun.

Thanks for all your lovely comments and hugs girls, things have got a little better and E has actually slept through for two whole nights! Smile I think he somehow realised that he'd driven me to breaking point Monday and got fed up of me crying over trivial things Blush I do feel a little better but obviously apprenhensive that things can go downhill just as quickly!

Sorry for lack of personals but just popping on quick at work (tut tut tut) Wink

barbie1 · 06/07/2011 16:37

Im wobbling! tmi alert coming up!

I had a snot like thing of discharge earlier, very sticky and snot coloured Blush Now i am convinced its my mucus plug and my cervix has started to open Sad Freaking out, tummy ache but i have had that for ages, no bleeding or anything else though. Thoughts???

Mum still isnt back from op, poor love have been waiting all day and was starving when i last spoke to her.

4everhopeful · 06/07/2011 17:46

Hello wobble partner Smile fear not, I actually had something very similar sounding yesterday, and remember similar with Summer.. Think its just all part of our bits changing with the hormones and such like.. All quite normal im very sure.. When is your next apt for peace of mind?

Another Yay to 4ever from me. Hope you're feeling chilled.

Barbie I'm sure, like 4ever said, it's all hormonal. Do get checked out again if you're worried though.

Buddha Yay for sleep. H has slept all night the past 2 night too but I never believe it's going to last - and it rarely does! It might just give you the stamina you need though. In a few years this will all be a rose-tinted memory -yes really!

Vjay You sound very busy. Hope those boys are behaving. Was very impressed by your DIY skills btw.

Louey speaking of busy, that was quite a morning. How are you finding being a mum of three?

Cupcake Can't offend me. I'm not a sport tennis lover!

Moon Hope you're muddling on ok.

OK broke mine and Vjay's rule and logged onto facebook through my mum's account just to see what I was missing. [nosey cow] Was completely underwhelmed? Did I do it wrong? Smile

Is anyone else looking forward to Harry Potter? Grin

barbie1 · 07/07/2011 14:50

vjay!!!! I was quite upset to see someone i didnt know posting on our thread, then i realized it was you! Grin

Thanks for your messages yesterday, i worried myself sick but then dh gave me a good talking to and i realized that i have to chillax, I am going to make myself ill if i don't stop stressing about every little ball of snot in my --pants thing. My next scan is tues, the doc knows me only too well and booked my a reassurance scan before we fly back to the uk for 3 weeks. Fingers crossed.

Mum finally came up from op, 3 hours late Shock the worry was immense. 3 months in plaster and 6 months of intense therapy is what she has to look forward to next...but other than that she is ok.

4ever bff has scan on tues next week, dunno why i thought it was yesterday Hmm

Will try to get back and post later, Dolly is still under the weather so has been hard work, hence lack of personals...

cupcakefairy · 07/07/2011 15:18

barbie glad your mum is ok. Mine is having surgery on her wrist today...poor mums!
Also glad you will be chilling from now on! (I'll believe it when I see it Grin)

LOL Vjay loving the name!

Happy anniversary to 4ever and mr4ever

I'm not gonna be able to make meetup on 6th Aug ...we're having a surprise party for my sister's 21st at my parents'...they had been talking about doing something in London and I was all pleasepleaseplease but they've changed their minds now...boooo :( gutted, esp as monkey is in the uk then. Next time!!

loueytb3 · 07/07/2011 17:32

cupcake hope your mum's op goes ok.

barbie tis normal to have lots of weird discharge at this stage. I know it is a bit worrying though. Glad DH has calmed you down a bit. Very good that you are having another scan before you fly back to the UK. How many weeks will you be then? I've totally lost track now. Your poor mum, sounds rotten. Hopefully it won't take as long as they think. How long is she going to be in the US?

vjay I haven't seen the last harry potter yet Hmm, DH is a total killjoy about going to the cinema. Can't wait until DTs are old enough to get into things like that. We are thinking of trying a cinema trip this summer with them. Not sure how Isaac will react though.

buddha so pleased you've had a couple of nights of good sleep. Lets hope this is just the start of it and not a blip!

neeko well done H for sleeping through! I am not finding having 3 too bad, although I may have changed my mind by the end of tomorrow. I have them all tomorrow for the whole day on my own and the weather forecast is not great. I think we may be decamping to soft play for part of the day otherwise we will all go insane!

I've uploaded some photos finally, for those of you not on FB. Hopefully I've added you all so you can see them, let me know if you can't. Still having a nightmare feeding O, he is randomly refusing to bf and/or not latching on properly. When he does latch on, he feeds for an hour and then still often needs a top up. If I don't top him up he will wake up on and off fussing for more food. Had a rough night last night with very little sleep after 1.30am. My lovely HV was here for an hour this morning and we had a long chat about what to do. She thinks we should limit bf time as he is getting tired and then top up each feed with formula or EBM. Although he is putting on weight, he is dropping down the centiles which he can't afford to do given that he started nearly at the bottom. We are heading to the 0.2nd centile now. Am a bit fed up that bf is not working out (again).

On the plus side, we have almost booked a holiday for October. 3 children on a plane, are we mad????

HagridsPetVJay · 07/07/2011 18:02

louey your photos are lovely you have three gorgeous boys Smile

VJaytheVeela · 07/07/2011 20:05

You can tell dh is away Grin far too much time on my hands!

4everhopeful · 08/07/2011 08:47

Vjay you do make me laugh funny lady! Grin Also impressed by your DIY skills! Have you got some lovely things with your boys planned? Your penny walk idea has really stuck with me and im lookin forward to doing it with Summer, its the sort of thing my dad would of done.. Smile

Aww Louey your DTs are gorgeously handsome and bless your oh so cute and lovely diddy dot Oscar he is teeny!

Cupcake do hope your mum is ok after her op? Gutted you cant make the meet up, any time you do make it to London we will just have to have an impromptu hook up and get our babies together! Wink

LBM lovely lady, hows your supermum juggling act? Grin Look forward to hearing from you! Wink

Barbie sounds like your poor mum is in for a testing time Sad bet your so glad to be coming back to see her soon. Hope Dolly is better today, have you noticed a huge improvement in her ears though? Also glad you have a scan on tues before you fly home.. Will be here to reciprocate your fab support and squeeze your hand, what UK time is it?

Blue are you still blissed out lurking from your sunlounger? Are you brown as a berry? Providing all is still well ill be 18wks when we go to Cyprus so at least ill be looking obviously pregnant and not just trying to hold in my still slightly flabby mummy tummy! Wink

Neeko your birthday and anniversary sounded lovely, must be nice to just have some quality time with DH.. Maybe next anniversary we may try and follow suit Hmm

Buddha so glad young E gave you some respite, hope its a corner turned..

Curly lovely to see you dropping in and really looking forward to seeing you and Monkey for the meet up, is Sabs up for it too? Barbie can you make it? In fact who else can make it? My broadbands been down, hopefully sorted over the weekend so should send a mail really!

Once again cant tell you how touched I was by all your tx and posts of support, it means so much to have you fantastic ladies in my life holding me up through my weebles..

4everhopeful · 08/07/2011 09:31

Hmm yes just remembered, want to ask your opinions, sort of thing to ask in AIBU but never going back there again! Confused Hmm

Our anniversary yesterday was slightly marred, we still went for a lovely meal in the evening and DH brought me some gorgeous earrings and perfume so all was well in the end, however in the morning we had a bit of a barney.. Hmm
Basically, we are having a BBQ for our anniversary on sunday, but on monday found out our Dnephew (same age as Summer) has hand foot and mouth virus, id never heard of it, its a rash on said areas that turn into blisters, its highly contagious, among kids mainly, but until the blisters stop oozing and scab over. Then upon googling i discover there is a very small risk of miscarriage, or foetal abnormality to pregnant women, Shock although still unproven, if they say it on the NHS website (as well as several others) then there is obviously something in it.. Hmm

In my eyes thats instantly no question that Dn cant come. Even if the risk of miscarriage is 000.1%, after what we have been through, im not taking it. Secondly, as well as Summer, 3 other nieces and nephew will be there as well as my friends 2 kids, my SIL is already pd off that our DN had been brought round to hers last sun, when he already had the rash and blisters, and she is nearing the end of the incubation period worrying her 3 may now have it, so not happy at the idea that DN would be there when prob still contagious. His dad, DH bro, is seperated from the mum at the mo, its not his usual weekend to have DN anyway. As i said, in my eyes its a no brainer, but DH was initially worried about upsetting his bro, and said we should just cancel all together Hmm rather than tell him not to bring his son! Eventually DH reluctantly told bro, and does obviously understand, but i think MIL and BIL did seem a bit Hmm about it initially like im overreacting or bein paranoid! Shock Was in tears yest.. Whats your thoughts, anyone had experience of hand foot and mouth? AIBU?

VJaytheVeela · 08/07/2011 10:10

4ever cjay had hand foot and mouth when he was little and it is highly contagious and I was told to avoid pg women plus you don't want Summer getting it, so you are right to avoid contact. They should realise this anyway and not come, some people just don't think!

4everhopeful · 08/07/2011 11:09

Thank you so much vjay a lone voice of sanity! The battle continued this morning with MIL Shock shes adamant he isnt contagious and being really off with me, im just flabberghasted im even having to argue my case.. Angry How long would you say Cjay was contagious for from diagnosis? X

VJaytheVeela · 08/07/2011 11:45

I honestly can't remember but he caught it from his cousin and that was at a family get together. In my humble opinion it's just not worth the risk. Does your MIL not realise she is at risk too?

BuddhaBelly · 08/07/2011 12:08

4ever You are talking to the woman who hid in a glass cubicle for 3 months when swine flu was at it's worse!!! So I agree with you whole heartedly, it's just not worth the risk!!
Barbie How's the chillaxing going? Wink Your poor Mum has a little while until her ordeal ends bless her, hope she recovers very soon. Give Dolly an extra squeeze from us, poorly girl Sad
Vjay I've promised DH I'll take him to the cinema to see the last HP, not a huge fan but he is a massive one so thought I'd treat him for the last one (he's been on his own before Shock)

Just realised it's lunchtime so have to dash, but will just whisper a few words 4 nights sleeping through in a row Smile

VJaytheVeela · 08/07/2011 19:12

'tis Harry Potter fever out there [hgrin]

cupcakefairy · 08/07/2011 19:48

buddha YES to sleep! Even if you get more disturbed nights in the future, knowing he can do a stretch like that always gives you hope it will come back again! Well done E :) Hope that's made you feel much stronger :)

4ever no question about it, definitely right that your dn should stay away! hope you're not in too much trouble over it!!

Vjay you are hilarious. I'm trying to come up with my own HP themed name now... Gutted I'm not gonna get to see it for weeks yet!! Have you seen all the pics in t'paper of Emma Watson crying her eyes out at the premiere bless her!

louey your boys are gorgeous!! Oscar is such a tiny wee thing! You must be so proud. Thanks for putting them up :)

Well ladies Jude has taken his first steps!! He did it yesterday and I managed to catch it on camera...he'd just been taking 2 or 3 steps until then so I filmed him and enticed him over with the house phone which he's obsessed with playing with and he walked 7 or 8 steps towards me! It was amazing Grin He's done it a few more times today so hopefully he'll grow in confidence and be toddling about by the time we go to France in 6 weeks :)

Right, Friday night, chips and a movie with my dh. Cheers all Wine

BuddhaBelly · 08/07/2011 20:37

Cupcake Yeah for Jude walking! Look out now, he will be officially EVERYWHERE!! Smile Definately feel much better and stronger than the other day, I'd forgotten how good sleep actually is Wink
Vjay Just for you here's a [hgrin] and a [hsmile]
