My wife and I are thinking of trying for a family and are currently looking at our options. I was hoping maybe someone out there is currently or has gone through the same thing?

Didn't want you to go unanswered. I have a friend whose daughter us ly age on same sex marriage. They used a spelt donor and were successful very quickly. I guess success with sperm donor might depend on who is getting pregnant/quality of eggs. I found a good website:
