CLOMID GANG - the new thread

This should be clomid and IUI (for Katierocket) thread. Hoping this one will be luckier than the last - can't be any worse, don't think we had a single BFP did we?

i am no t getting excited as had wash out .... LOL ! highly unlikely i have anything left inside ....... i just think the anesthetic has messed me up, or the fact i am not on clomid this month......

I had decided yesterday to have this month off clomid. DH is away for a couple of days around ov time and this is my last (official) cycle of clomid.
I fell pg with my ds on a month off!!!
Here's hoping it works for me next month too!!

can chlomid cause irregular cycles.

on 3rd month of chlomid and it is now day 28 of my cycle and af ususally showing signs of appearing by now.

1st month of chomlid was a 31 day cycle which is way off my ususal (27/28) cycle length. 2nd month was 28 and had lh surge occurred on day 13 according to opk. now, I know they are not 100% but this month lh surge was on day 13 as well so i expected another 28 days cycle. no sore boobs or bloatedness wk before. have done early pg test sat and today but negative...can anyone explain what might be happening.

yes, clomid can alter your cycle,it can also make you ov late !! so you come on later sometimes..... just bare withit....

hi, thanks skbf, it has occurred to me. I have just spoken to one of the nurses at my clinic, explained about the lh surge on day 13 as per prev cycle which was a 28, no af symptoms week before and she also said that could be false negatives. Am just going to see what happens over next few days...don't feel anxious about it funnily enough...think although v slight chance might be more likely that am not...we'll see anyway.

(I hope its not a late one as depending how late it would mean I missed ovulation for this month!)

This is my first message on this thread but have been reading for a while (hope you don't mind). I just wanted to say to Dizzy I think I am in same position as you. Am on 3rd chlomid cycle and day 28 with no sign of af. Always have spot on 26 day cycles but 2nd chlomid cycle gave me a 21 dayer! opk test gave me a smiley face on day 17 this month so maybe will have a v late af but just have no usual symptoms. did a negative preg test this morning - just in case. so now waiting for af.... same as you- I think it will appear at some point.

Hi all, things not going well for me, might be back....... got last blood test wed to compare HCG levels, then i shall know if i am ok !!! not feeling positive....

i am actually doing fine, just a bit of pain like period time, and of course bleeding, but mentally i am fine...... was only 5 weeks, in real terms thats about 18 days, so was just a blob, and i have now been PG !!! so there is positive out of this, and only 3% of miscarriages go on to have a second..... so

HERE'S TO NEXT MONTH, for us all....

Hi Rachee. You sound okay, I hope you really are. When I miscarried I had the same attitude, ie at least its an early miscarriage, etc. Its still sad though and I hope you just keep going until you get preg again. Yes, it is very good news that you got pregnant.

Really doing fine, going scan on tuesday just to make sure it all gone, then doc has said - can get back on it again !!! LOL.

i am very glad it wasn't eptopic - having it removed would have been different, plus i knew it wasn't right, i lost the pg feeling 2 days before it happened, and the blood tests confirmed it was lost ( got results after the m/c LOL ), and i have now been pg..... i feel like i have graduated !!!!

hugs Rachee, so sorry to hear the news. But as you say, you have now been pregnant, hopefully your body now knows what to do and your next pregnancy will be soon and successful.

My best friend's first pregnancy ended in a m/c at 10 weeks, her second pregnancy was only a few months later, and resulted in a gorgeous, healthy baby girl (now 10 months old!).

Are you going to continue the clomid this month or go 'natural' again?

Interesting that you fell pg on a month off just like I did last time. It must stay in your body or have a culmunative (sp?) effect?

This month i am having a month off clomid, because of m/c wanted to bleed properly and clomid i find gives me a lighter/shorter period. And wasn't told to take it, so have left it well alone. Scan tomorrow, just to ake sure all is well.( that will be day 6) Boobs have only just stopped hurting !!! LOL

clomid thread doesn't seem to be that busy at the moment, must be lots of sucsess out there...
