This should be clomid and IUI (for Katierocket) thread. Hoping this one will be luckier than the last - can't be any worse, don't think we had a single BFP did we?

Lots and lots and lots of luck to us all.

Many congratulations daisyhun!!

BeckiF · 29/04/2006 12:13

Hello ladies. Well according to FF I'm 4dpo. Now starts the waiting game. However I've had some twinges on the lower left side, what I'd call just above my pubic area. Any ideas?? Obviously too early for any implantation, and I checked my notes and saw that this cycle I've had cramping pains on the left side throughout. Your thoughts/suggestions are, as always, very welcome!!

Congrats to Daisy! There's hope for us all.

trace2 · 30/04/2006 14:06

hi all am on second day of clomid, and am knacked is this the clomid?? i feel drained.

BeckiF · 30/04/2006 16:31

Hi Trace - don't think that will be the Clomid. My main side effect has been terrible hot flushes as the cycle progresses up until ovulation when they seem to subside.

trace2 · 30/04/2006 17:13

thanks becky, been back to sleep again, not ill just sleepy

Rachee · 01/05/2006 21:44

Coggy.... LOL. ( clients? are you a hairdresser?)

Trace tiredness is a side effect. I ( as most) get very very ratty.... PMT multipied by 15, for most of the month, but especially at night when i am even more tired...

Good luck all xXx

coggy · 01/05/2006 22:07

oooh - just wrote a message for you on the 'other' clomid thread - I am on tooo many!!

I am a Trinny and Susanna type (job-wise not look-wise)! I advise clients on make-up, clothing styles etc. and I also teach part-time.
Not a very good image to leave messages like that on an ansa-phone...I was truely mortified when I realised and, needless to say, she hasn't been back to me since!!!
Ooops!

Rachee · 01/05/2006 22:12

I could tell your a people person, not afraid to talk !! I think that's FAB... i wish you all he best in your baby making xXx ( i am A Hairdresser, so also know how to talk !! LOL)

coggy · 01/05/2006 22:18

I am on the other thread and sticking to it!!! Grin
Well....obviously not as I'm typing this (?!)

  • need a confused emoticon!!
BeckiF · 02/05/2006 07:32

Today I ams 7dpo and having been excited about steadily climbing temps, today it is down a little. Not enough for the classic implantation dip though. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Jodee · 02/05/2006 21:19

Hi Marina, just seen your message, I'm keeping upbeat that the clomid will work, just finished 3rd round, so we shall see ... hope you and your family are well. Smile

Loubie37 · 03/05/2006 07:46

Sorry I've been AWOL, been so busy lately which is a good thing....it's nice not to think about babies from the minute I wake up until the minute I go to bed for a change Grin

Congratulations Daisy - I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy :)

Well, it's my last month on Clomid, I'm in the 2ww now (at last...I didn't get a smiley face on my OPK until last Saturday which was CD20!!) So it's in God's hands now....we DTD loads, so at least if it doesn't work this month we won't be able to kick ourselves and say 'what if'

AF would normally be on Monday, but I'll only be 8DPO then (having my 21 day blood test that day!) so I'm expecting AF to be at least 5 days late....the earliest I'll test (one has to live in hope!) will be a week on Friday (12/5) so please blow as much baby dust my way as you can??!!

Good luck to everyone else, lets hope we all get BFPs soon :):):)

Loubie xx
CD24

naditude · 03/05/2006 16:44

Loubie37 - Good Luck!! Fingers crossed. I know exactly what you mean by having a break. It is hard thinking about it all the waking day.

As for your smiley face not coming until the CD20 - I'm on CD26 and still waiting!! Angry

I have been known to get it as late as CD27 though so am still hopeful! Smile

GOOD LUCK ALL!!!!

Naditude x
CD26 2nd cyc clomid

BeckiF · 04/05/2006 08:12

9dpo and I've had three consecutive temp drops :( It was looking promising with a steady rise but now ... well I'll just sit and wait for AF :(

Rachee · 04/05/2006 13:13

becki, i feel for you.....

I have been for a scan today, cd13, and i have a big fat juicey follical, and two little ones, so they have given me a HCJ ? jab.... now been told to bonk friday night after 10pm, sat morn and sat night for best results !!! very exciting.

cd13 , 4th cycle clomid, 100mgs

Rachee · 04/05/2006 13:19

what is a HCJ jab ???? anyone...

coggy · 04/05/2006 17:11

Hi Rachee - 'tis me..on very quickly even though I should be making the tea!!
I have hcg jabs. They release the eggs. The scan checks whether the folicles are big enough and then the jab gets them moving out!!
Basically!

I had scan and jabs last time I had clomid...this time is rather more random as I am still having the jab but without the scan which seems rather mad as the follicles may not be large enough to release?!
Oh well.....

Rachee · 04/05/2006 18:33

are there any side effacts, cause i have been eating all day following the jab, very unusual for me !!! ( still healthy stuff though) still on the weight loss goal thing, whole tub of cottage cheese, instead of just a couple of spoons !! that sort of thing.....

xXx (and god i am uncomfortable, major ov pains) !!

coggy · 04/05/2006 22:11

I didn't sem to have any side effects. I just found the injection quite painful - a bit like a tetanus, you can kind of feel it going into you.
I didn't have any side effects on the clomid last time either tho' and I think that I am a bit more short tempered this time (sense of humour lack once or twice in the past week!!)
I am having my jab on Tuesday so I will pay close attention to my eating!
Good for you with the cottage cheese.
I got persuaded into chips tonight - oops!!

Rachee · 07/05/2006 22:05

mm, yes sting is an understatement, i don't mind jabs, but this one bloody hurt..... apparently it is hormone suspended in SALT water !!!!

Rachee · 07/05/2006 22:06

cd 16.......

Been bonking all weekend, legs up and everything !! all i can do is sit back and pray

BeckiF · 08/05/2006 20:09

AF came yesterday for me. Hospital tomorrow and then the IVF clinic in three weeks.

ShouldKnowByFriday · 08/05/2006 21:38

Hello all, been having a break as am waiting for AF (day 37 and not preg) and just need to forget about this ttcing biz for a bit.

BeckIf, I am sorry Clomid wasn't the answer for you but at least IVF is now an option. Shall really keep fingers crossed for you.

Started acupuncture 3 Fridays ago and last Friday felt really upbeat about everything again. Just need to get back to my normal state of mind where I take everything in my stride and don't let things get me down. I am now there and ready for my next course of Clo. Just waiting for AF now.

Good luck to all those trying and all those in their 2ww!

trace2 · 09/05/2006 08:45

ShouldKnowByFriday, sorry you feeling so low, tell us about the acupuncture i.e how much, if it makes you feel better? hope it works for you.

Becki, good luck at clinc

well day 12 for me and no eggs sign, just have to wait and see if clomid works

BeckiF · 09/05/2006 15:47

Well, just had hospital appt as follow up to two months Clomid. And despit all the positive OPK's and the temp dips pn FF etc. I DID NOT ovulate on either cycle. And no more Clomid. SO now it's just down to the IVF unit. To say I feel like osmeone has ripped my heart out and stamped all over it doesn't even begin to compare.
