How long after DC1 before you got AF? 13 months and nothing!

DC1 is 13 months and I stopped BFing three months ago and still haven't had AF. Saw nurse (unrelated) today and she said it would just take time. How long???? Anyone else have experience of this?
PS She did test and I'm not preg.

I stopped bfing at 6-8 weeks and got my first AF about a month after that. It was a really horrible period which apprently is normal .
Maybe managing 10 months of bf (well done!) means it is a longer delay? i.e. the longer you feed for the longer it all takes to reestablish itself iyswim.
I'd also say if you are not happy with nurse's response go and see GP.
