Oh dachs Sad. What makes you think they haven't implanted? Sad

DeterminedToGetDiffedDachs · 16/08/2011 15:09

Last time I got cramps and implantation bleeding. I got some pg symptoms, like a metallic taste in my mouth etc, a couple of days before I got my BFP, which was 8 days after the transfer. And I've got nothing. No bleeding, no cramps, no symptoms. And I just know deep inside that it hasn't worked. Waiting until the official test date will just confirm it. It's quite depressing really.

MissTinaTeaspoon · 16/08/2011 15:20

I haven't had implantation bleeding in either of my pregnancies, and no symptoms at all until 5 weeks with dd. The last time I had a funny dizzy spell around implantation time but I would have missed that had I been at home in bed rather than standing in front of an incubator at work as it was in the middle of the night, so dont give up hope just yet x

Loup23 · 16/08/2011 15:32

oh dachs Sad I hope you're wrong, not that I have experience of it but from the mountains of forums I've read it seems that each pregnancy is different even for the same woman. I am also comparing this 2ww to the one where I got a BFP and I don't have any spotting or implantation bleeding which I did with the last but hoping it's just different this time....

Keeping everything crossed still dachs no-one deserves a BFP more.

Fx for Zam mouse tina as well - may this be our month Wink x

Freezingmyarseoff · 16/08/2011 16:45

Dachs sorry you don't think it's worked Sad FWIW I didn't have any symptoms at all with DD or this one until about 6 or 7 weeks. And with my mc's i did have some early symptoms so each pregnancy in the same woman really is different. I didn't believe it when other people said that to me but now I can say it is true. I'm quietly keeping my fingers crossed for you. It's SO hard not to think about every moment (you most of all having been through so much) but please really try to distract yourself as much as possible ( pretty difficult/impossible I know). It will help time go faster.

Tent is now up but mostly because DH found an excuse to " work from home" this afternoon. Took 20 mins at v leisurely pace Smile. We're off to Devon from Sat to Wed.

20 week scan tomorrow with consultant (due to higher DS risk which was good of them to offer). I realised there's not much I can do so feeling calmer again today.

On my phone so can't scroll back, i will do my update in instalments.

Loup23 · 16/08/2011 16:56

Good luck for tomorrow freezing remember to pop in and let us know how it goes before you head off on your adventure!

Freezingmyarseoff · 16/08/2011 16:56

Fingers crossed for mouse, zam, loup & Tina

zam I'm very intrigued about Freetown now.

mouse aspirin wouldn't hurt, my gp suggested it but too late for me.

spilt I don't 'know' you but good luck with your impending outtage, all very exciting Grin

Waves to everyone.

batteryhen · 16/08/2011 21:22

Firstly apologies for my slackness in not being around, I just seem to be permenantly busy and knackered. I have been reading though.

split hello lovely girl, nice to see you popping in :)

dachs Try to be calm, all my 3 pregnancies have been different symptom wise, it just might be that way with you. I really really hope you get some positive news next week.

freezing Have a fab time in devon, i was there 2 weeks ago, and it was gorgeous :) And don't forget to update us on your scan before you go!

Fingers crossed for tina loup mouse and zam

Hello to all other lurkers to, and wave to digi too.

News from me, I think AF is around the corner - temps have dropped so I do expect it soon. I hope it might be thursday as I should OV in 2 weeks which will be around the weekend so DP will be home. I hope Af comes now (that is the last time I will write that sentance I hope!)

Waves to all :)xx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 17/08/2011 08:37

Just a quickie from France to say good luck and best wishes to freezing and dachs - thinking of you both xx

Youremindmeofthebabe · 17/08/2011 09:37

Ooh, lots of 2ww-ers at the minute. That's ver' exciting. (for me- probably rather more nerve-wracking for you). Good luck all.

freezing How exciting that you get to see mini-free today. Good luck with it all, hope all goes well. Have a lovely time in Devon. I have never been to Devon or Cornwall and am very jealous of other people's trips there.

Waves to everyone, will try to catch up later properly.

Loup23 · 17/08/2011 10:13

Caved again with an i/c oh and to be extra sure a FRER as well Blush both BFN Sad keep trying to reason with myself it's too early but still feel massively disappointed....

DH and I are also going out with good friends tonight who love their booze (as do we) and I'm going to find it hard not to drink (or to make excuses) how has everyone else coped with this? Use the "antibiotics" excuse...? Confused

batteryhen · 17/08/2011 11:06

loup how many days dpo are you?? I expect you are still early :) x - I use the 'oh I had a skinful last night /week and am still recovering so just coke for me please :) xx

DeterminedToGetDiffedDachs · 17/08/2011 11:10
Loup23 · 17/08/2011 12:52

hi battery i'm either 7 or 10 (I think 10, fertility friend changed it's mind from 10 to 7!) So either way I'm thinking it's too early Blush I usually start spotting at around 10dpo so if AF stays away I'll try again at the weekend. Hope AF is on her way for you (for the last time in 10 months I hope too!) and that O day arrives as planned!

Thanks for the fish dachs will hold on to them ready to send on to other early testers, any out there??!

mouse tina zam how are you getting on? x

ZamMummyInGabs · 17/08/2011 13:10

Hi loup the "still recovering" excuse is always a good one. If you don't mind having a couple of drinks, try Guinness or lager as it's much more difficult to drink as much. And in halves if you're in the pub.
Or if you must drink wine coz of non-curry type food then guzzle enormous quantities of water alongside. Or gin/vodka & tonic but leave out the gin/vodka when it's your/DH's round.
Can you see I'm well practiced at this? Wink
No testing here yet as only 3dpo

Loup23 · 17/08/2011 15:21

oh zam thanks for the tips - you're a pro!!

3dpo way too early to test (hides blushing face as once tested at 5dpo......)

Freezingmyarseoff · 17/08/2011 18:31

Hi peeps
Just a quick update as I've got ILs here today & tomorrow. All was absolutely normal with our scan, which is a big relief Smile. Consultant was suitably consultant- like "remind me why I'm scanning you today" Confused but just as expected so I have no particular problem with that. I forgot to ask for photos so I had to go back and get scanned again and have another look at the Popsicle Grin

Seems there's a lot of fish flying around at moment Grin

MissTinaTeaspoon · 17/08/2011 18:46

Just a quick one, about to start work. Just wanted to say that's great to freezing Grin and say hi to lily, how are you?

Now ladies, there's enough of us 2ww-ers to surely get at least 1 bfp?! Grin

Have a lovely evening x

Velvetcu · 17/08/2011 19:39

Smile great news freezing

mousebacon · 17/08/2011 19:41

A little bit of boob-ache today

The haddock was definitely appropriate for such early testing but I can't deny being tempted to crack open the ICs...

Great news freezing Grin

How are you feeling about things today dachs ?

digitalgirl · 17/08/2011 20:06

Excellent news freezing

Freezingmyarseoff · 17/08/2011 23:20

thank you for your lovely messages.

Lily I'm very touched by your message especially, how thoughtful of you. How are you doing this week? I have been thinking of you often. I hope very much that, if and when you are ready, you will be back here and I will be able to return the Grin x

Loup23 · 18/08/2011 09:51

Yay for freezing lovely news, when's your due date?

Hi to lily lovely to hear from you.

Hoping dachs mouse and tina are staying away from tests..... I stayed at friends' last night so couldn't test today! 11dpo I think and no AF and no spotting so far.....

Youremindmeofthebabe · 18/08/2011 09:53
