am liking the cheating and eating of muffins!!

Just popping in to say I am pissing myself off. Am still in WTF cycle, lots of ov pains, last week, cm etc but then temps are down. Did an OPK today and it is as negative as a negative thing in a negative shop. God almighty is it too much to ask that my body does what the hell its supossed to???

My HCG was 50 last tuesday, had it done again today and will get the results tomorrow. I am now 4 weeks after my erpc. I don't really want need to get pregnant before my appointment with MR S but it would be nice to know I could at least try!!!

Rant over.

digitalgirl · 18/07/2011 21:16

I'll have a muffin. No sign of an egg here either. Although my special herb concoction from the Acupuncturist has turned up. It's a not at all delicious murky looking liquid that I'm to take 3 capfuls of a day. Hoping it'll help me ovulate in the next week. I've taken one swig and already the left ov is twinging. Gotta be a good thing.

I'm feeling so down about everything at the moment. This is second proper cycle post-mc and it's still so long, cd24 today.

Good luck to those on the 2ww (ladybee I'm looking at you)

Freezingmyarseoff · 18/07/2011 21:27

thanks Tina - and woohoo to your DH's swimmers Grin

Dachs I'm a bit dissappointed you managed to answer your own question so quickly, I love doing those kinds of quizes Smile

Tomboy I'm loving the camper van talk. I can always dream of owning one, and I'll just gloss over the cost factor

Izzy sorry I realised it was you who wanted the book, not MummyA. Have you had any good recommendations yet?

LadyBee car or should I say 4x4 sounds good. I always imagine that you can actually justify one of those in NZ rather than round here. Shock at your DS dropping his nap. I think DD is about to do that too, and I'm not sure how to cope!! I have been counting on it so I can have a nap too. Very exciting about the prospect of having all your belonging reunited with you again.

Battery Rant away, please. Bodies never co-operate when they REALLY need to. I'm sorry. But maybe, in a really irritating way it is actually behaving, in that you will be able to see Mr S. Big squeeze for you. And a Wine

MummyA do you not have any risk factor even with just a nuchal scan? Thank you for the hand-holding offer.

Thank you also to everyone for your kind comments about the Down's dilemma. We have arranged to go in and speak to the midwife tomorrow to get more information. I know the ammnio miscarriage risk at the hospital is 0.5% (1:200) but we would like to find out if it is any better for each specific consultants who do them. We will also find out about my nuchal vs bloods results, and the possibility of more screening tests. Somehow, I just knew that I would be high risk, not sure why (apart from approaching ancientness). I just knew it, so not massively surprised.

I just booked some ante-natal yoga, just have to say that YRMOTB so I don't feel like a complete slob. Although it mostly involves sitting around stretching chatting, drinking tea and eating biscuits

Quick pop in to say good luck today to freezing xxx

Have you lot seen the thread on here entitled over population. I did post on it but was very tame.I wanted to tell her to f*k the f*k off.

Have a nice day y'all :)

MissTinaTeaspoon · 19/07/2011 07:29

Oh.my.flaming.god!

Post reported but why oh why is it still there?!

batteryhen · 19/07/2011 08:16

I know. Why would someone post that. Troll surely?

My HCG is 25. For christs sake. Hurrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyy up!!!!!!!

Youremindmeofthebean · 19/07/2011 09:16

Silly caah. I bet she's not even a troll. Easy to have a perfect view of the world and your place in it (pivotal) at the age of 22.

Good luck with the midwife freezing. Hope you get the answers that you would like. Well done on the pg yoga! I'm very proudSmile. I feel so much better over the last 5 weeks since exercising again, but am sure the fact I don't feel anywhere near as sick helps.

Silly slow HCG battery. Although as tina says it may be a blessing in disguise. When's Dr S?

dachs when do you find out if you've won?! I hope the prize is goodWink

ladybee the car sounds ace. Nice getting new wheels, you're very lucky. I am still coveting a car of my own, but suspect that it won't be for hundreds of years yet.. How's it going with the settling in? Have you found anyone to chat with yet? I find that the hardest part of making new friends, the polite chit chat at the start.

*wonders if there are any muffins left> I made butterfly buns with ds on Saturday in the torrential rain. They came out flat as pancakes. Tasted a bit meh too. Next time I'm going for the packet mix

ma are you taking some driving lessons then? I only passed my test 5 years or so ago, it was a challenge at the time, but rather satisfying.

tomboy I am super jealous of the campervan. In an ideal world I would have one of these (3rd vehicleGrin)

tina are you well? Getting a pattern on the chart now?

Waves to all, jolls, izz, digi, zam mouse and anyone else I have missed

MissTinaTeaspoon · 19/07/2011 09:47

Hello

yrmotb does this work?. I appear to have textbook cycle and dh has amazing swimmers so WHY ARENT I PREGNANT??!!! there's plenty of muffins left, help yourself!

Good luck with the magic medicine digi! Smile

Good luck with the mw freezing, I hope that you get some guidance to make the decision that's best for you.

Sad battery that your body isn't being more co operative.

I'm Angry and fuming that mn still haven't removed that thread...I've seen far less offensive things deleted much more quickly.

Right, I suppose I should get dressed...

Ladybee · 19/07/2011 11:09

hi tina I can see your chart no problems - and it looks lovely - what a rise! I'm very Envy mine barely scrapes itself up a few points. Deffo think I have a progesterone problem, have been searching for supplements to see whether a herbal approach might work but I think I may as well start my experiment of using the hard stuff (cyclogest) seeing I've got it. Also since I re-found my thermometer this morning. Oh the anguish of a lost BBT thermometer!

I have a secret confession. I've been putting off going to the GP to talk about my MC history because I also have something else I need to talk about. I've found a raised odd-looking splodge on my hip - it looks a bit like a mole that's leaking on one side. I don't have moles anywhere else, just a few light freckles. I'm scared to have it checked in case it turns out to be melanoma and then have to have all the treatment. So...I need you all to kick me up the butt and tell me to get to the GP. I know I need to do it.

Youremindmeofthebean · 19/07/2011 11:10

Yes, tina it does. Lovely! Tomorrow or the next day for crosshairs then, if all stays high! It's frustrating isn't it, in a way? But that's one less thing to concern yourself with really, you are ovulating, which can only be a Good Thing. It took me to cycle 8 to conceive after the mc, ovulating well, etc. Chin up Smile

Youremindmeofthebean · 19/07/2011 11:13

ladybee. Get thee to a physician now. 90% of dodgy looking moles are not cancerous, but the earlier you deal with it, the better! I have lots of moles that I need to keep an eye on, and doctors are very good about checking them. Go on, it'll be fine x

MissTinaTeaspoon · 19/07/2011 11:13

ladybee GO TO THE GP!

(was that loud enough?!)

Seriously, it's probably nothing but if it is something it's best seen sooner rather than later. My FIL had a carcinoma on his ear, it was caught early because he gets regular followups because he's in remission for throat cancer so he had it removed as a day case with no further treatment needed. Please go x

DeterminedToGetDiffedDachs · 19/07/2011 11:30

FX for tina Grin

bee GO TO THE DOCTOR. NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) I'm sure it's nothing but worrying about it isn't going to help you so it would be better to get it checked out so that they can put your mind at rest. I am also using cyclogest at the moment - I had it left over from the last IVF cycle so I thought why not!

I had a strange dream last night - I dreamt that I went to see my obstetrician and that I was pg again, and when he was writing the notes he started putting 'conceived with IVF' and I turned round and said actually no, this one was natural. Could this be an omen? Or just wishful thinking..... I know it's highly unlikely to happen, but I really really really want to be pg again before the twins' due date.

battery I hope your hcg continues to fall and you get a zero soon Grin

mummya I didn't learn to drive until about 5 years ago - I was terrified of learning. I passed first time though and am v glad I can drive now. Good luck with it :)

Youremindmeofthebean · 19/07/2011 12:27

All the best people pass first time dachsGrinGrin

Freezingmyarseoff · 19/07/2011 13:08

YRMOTB I beg to differ, the best people pass 2nd time Grin

Our midwife appt was v helpful, I'll update later at home. Currently sitting in a bakery eating a yummy steak & kidney pie - nom nom!! Considering going back for a 2nd one Blush. Not for me of course, but the Popsicle.

LadyBee to the doctor NOW please missus.

Waves to all

MissTinaTeaspoon · 19/07/2011 13:30

No no no! You're all wrong! The truly best people in all the world pass third time! Honestly....Grin

Freezingmyarseoff · 19/07/2011 14:29

Hi again
Am home now but feeling rather full Blush Went for the chocolate donut in the end! But also bought a lovely selection of goodies for you lot

The midwife was pretty helpful, we have more information about my test results and we have basically made a decision we're both happy with. We came to it quite quickly, so it feels it is the right one for us, but will sleep on it for a few days before letting the midwife know.

I also had a women's physio appt today too, so have some pelvic floor exercises to do. I'm quite pleased, but probably shouldn't be since I'm needing extra help in the first place Hmm. Anyway, the main point she kept stressing was how important pelvic floor exercises are regardless of whether you're pregnant or not, so get busy ladies Smile

Am off swimming now, as part of my new regime. Can anyone recommend a good place for decent, supportive but nice swimming cossies. Mine is stretching sagging rather more rapidly than my tummy is growing.
