Hi Guys,

DP and i arent trying but it wouldnt be too bad if i was pregnant, have two boys already.

As we havent been trying so im not sure exactly of my cycle...All i know is i had my perios on easter sunday so i think im due n a few days. Since last week ive had this overwhelming want for another child, im eating like a horse and im so bloated. So i was out shopping yesterday and picked up a two pack of tests. I POAS yesterday (not FMU) and there was a really really really faint pinkish line. i mean if i had showed DP he would have said there was nothing there, i had to tilt it in the light to see it! so this morning i did another with FMU and it was a bit darker but still very faint. after about 15 mins it faded and now it is just like an evap now, a thin grey line. i dont know what to think?

I will obviously POAS tomorrow but i dont think i can hold it in until then, i dont want to tell DP until i know for sure x

Do you mean you can't hold your pee in 'til tomorrow?! Or your curiosity?

If you are a day or two early then you are most likely going to only get a feint line. If you are really chomping at the bit you can go and buy a ClearBlue digital test which either says "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant" that way there is no question and no squinting and keep taking the thing out of the bin to see if there really is a line or not. I have had lines that have been no more than a whisper and they have all been +ve. Good luck.

ps. if your curiosity gets the better of you and you do a digital test today, I would recommend not drinking anything or going to the loo for a good 2-3 hours before testing.

Thanks Havingkittens, no i dont think ill do a digital, i think its too early. oh and i meant hold my curiousity! i think tats what i meant anyway, it doesnt really make sense!

Not tried them. I use the cheap strips from the internet or the digital ones when I get a feint line I want confirming. But now I am onto the First Response ones for early testing because of the treatment plan I am on for recurrent miscarriage, but that's another story.

I used the same kind of one as internet cheapie, you know the cardboard ones.

Will pick up a tescos today though,

Sorry to hear about your miscarriages xxx

Thanks Bally.

I don't think a Tescos test will show you anything different to what you're getting on the internet tests to be honest. But who am I to tell you that when I am a compulsive POASer!

Ballyxxx · 18/05/2011 10:38

No ill keep it until the morning. I have been doing well the last few months with regards to POAS but ive fallen off the wagon big time this month!
