ttc and the bfing monster!

Hi there,
AF has just returned after nearly 16 months of bfing dd. I'm pretty sure this coincides with her cutting out the feeds at night. However she still feeds like a little milk monster during the day when she gets the chance.
My question is: Will her feeding inhibit my fertility now I have got my AF?
I'm afraid I don't know too much about the science of it, but I'm assuming I'm ovulating if I've got AF. But I thought perhaps it might inhibit implantation or something like that. I'm not in any rush to stop bfing but feel ready to start ttc no.2
Any advice would be greatly appreciated x

I was the same - but managed to conceive when DS was 13 months (although ended in MC). Conceived again a couple of month later and fingers crossed it sticks!
