Posterior cervix

Hi, I have the copper iud and have been experiencing pregnancy symptoms for a few weeks so i made an appointment with my nurse for today. Due to having the iud i check my cervix which was fine last week and i could feel a string fine, then at the end of last week it was so high i could not feel it.
I was 1 week late for my period which is unlike me i was due to start on the 4th but started lightly bleeding yesterday. So i went to my nurse today and explained what had been happening and she asked me to wait back in the waiting room so i could see my dr, when i went in i explained what had been happening and she asked to feel my stomach and asked if she could do an internal exam even though i was still bleeding lightly. She also had trouble feeling my cervix and told me that its posterior which ive never felt it like this before, its always easy to find and never facing back. I thought that it should be low at this point of my cycle. Any ideas as to why it would change. I have to go back at the end of the week so they can do some more tests and another exam when there is no blood there. I did do a hpt last week which was negative.
thanks for any advise.

I can't explain what has upset your menstrual cycle but have neither yourself or the Dr been able to find your coil threads today then? If you/they are not sure if the threads are there or not due to the bleeding/position of the cervix then it would be best to assume your coil is not there for the time being and use alternate contraception until you can (hopefully) get it confirmed that the coil position is ok and it has not been lost.

The dr has not been able to find it today but i did last week, that was before my cervix changed position to posterior which ive never noticed before. She looked like shes not sure either hopefully just an off.
