hubby and i are on the rough road to conception, whilst on our travels we have sufferd a mc in dec last year at roughly 6 weeks :(

ever since my af's have been getting progressivly heavier and soooo painful, to the point that im getting through a 12 pack of super towels for the first 3 days of af and the pains so bad that im suffering hot sweats and feeling dizzy

i know this cant be normal, i cant see the doc till june 4th Shock
i am however going to try and get an emergancy appointment in the next few days which can at times be eaqualy difficult to get

so if anyone can shed some light on my toubles that would be fab x

Until your correction I was about to say that's quite normal for me. I have severe pain for the first two days and a heavy bleed, needing to change a super plus tampon every couple of hours and occasionally flooding through that and a a towel.

But it is worth going to the docs to make sure there is no endo/fibroids/other things that can cause heavy painful periods, particularly as this is a recent thing for you.

Hi, sorry for your loss. I have also had mcs.
I also have very heavy and painful periods I have had several tests which have revealed I have a large uterus, alot of damage and scar tissue from my cs and varcoise veins throughout my pelvis. They quite vaguely said these things mays be cotributing to the problems but not neccessarily causing it. They recommended treatment for the pain and heavy bleeding either the coil, which a) Im also trying to conceive and b) just dont like the idea of it, or taking medication mefenamic acid and traxemic acid (might be spelt wrong). I only need to take them while on af so dont interfere with ttc and they work really well for me.
The 4th of June does seem a long time to wait. Do you not have a well womans clinic locally? They is one near me it is nhs but seperate to gp. They do all the smears, conception and womens problems.

never thought about a womans clinic thanks for that
it is very recent for me, only since dec last year, before that they were medium flow for 2 days then light for a further 4 always have been since i can remember

maybe its age lol
