whats the difference between implantation + a normal period

Hi, I've been reading up on implantation bleeding + I am very confused at the mo. How long can it last?? And what's the difference from a period? I've had light bleeding for 9 days, not enough to wear a pad , there's blood every time a wipe (sorry tmi and the blood was dark brown now its dark red) I'm having the most horrendous hormonal outbursts and I don't know what the f*ck is going on! Please somebody answer me . Done 3 pg tests all neg, last one I did was last sat

You have my every sympathy it's awful just waiting and wondering and worrying with nothing you can do. How is it different from your normal period? Are they usually so long?
