Faint OPK lines?

Hmm im lost Confused

Been using OPK's since had my implant out and as didnt know when i would ovulate i just used them everyday after AF had gone. I would just get the one control line untill around ovulation time. I then would get a faint line the day before the strong positive, then the day after another faint line then back to just the control line.

This cycle i didnt use them for the first few days. The first one i used around CD6 (i think) gave me a faint line so i was expecting the strong positive the next day. But no! Everyday has been faint lines now on CD 11.

So could i possible have already missed it. As in if i had tested the day before CD5 could that have been a strong one and im now just getting faint ones. But then AF was here untill CD3 so is it even possible to OV that early :s.

Well any ideas? Do any of you guys get faint ones all the time.

Thanks guys :)

What cycle days did you ov before and how long is your cycle?

I usually get a positive anywhere between 4 and 8 days after AF has gone and usuall cycle between 24 and 28.

i get faint lines all the time on them and never a positive. its a it hit and miss because u can have a brief surge and just catch the going up and the going down and miss the surge unless u are testing 5 times a day. ive given up with the bloody things. going to give the clearblue ones a whirl for one month and if they also dont work will just swi every other day throughout the cycle x

This is my first cycle using OPK's, I did my first one yesterday and got no line and I had a faint line today.
I'm on CD14 of a 30/31 day cycle - I'm pretty sure I havn't ovulated yet.
No EWCM etc.

On the instruction leaflet that came with my pack (Clear + Simple) it says that a faint line shows a normal amount of LH.

I'm no expert on OPK's - but have heard that they can be unreliable.
Are you using the same brand that you usually use? And have you been testing at the same time of day?

On which CD do you normally get a strong positive?

Yeah same brand. The cycle day differs as sometimes I will bleed for 6 days where as this month was only 3. But tend to get the strong positive between 4 and 8 days after af has gone. Where this cycle ive had a faint line everday from when I started testing on CD 6 I think which was three days after af had gone.
