Help! Pregnant but tests pretty faint?

Hello
Please please help me stop driving myself crazy. I am pg but think test results are a bit too faint for it to be a sticky one.

I am still bfeeding DC2 so don't have regular cycles yet. Had one period which started on 5 April. I then ovulated any time between 20 and 23 April (i,e, 2 weeks ago today). There was nothing going on in the bedroom dept after 22 April as we were on holiday. I had v v light pinkish CM last Sat and Sunday, and slight spotting 2 days ago (I spotted throughout weeks 4-7 with DC2).

I did test on Tuesday of this week (Internet cheapy), which was definitely negative. On Wednesday evening I had a weird craving for soy sauce so popped out and bought a couple of clear blue plus tests. The test was a clear, though faint, positive. I tested again yesterday afternoon and the positive line was definitely darker than the original one had been, but after a couple of hours the line had all but disappeared. This concerned me so I did another couple of Internet cheapies which came up strongly positive. To set my mind at rest, I did a clear blue digital this morning but only got 1-2 weeks when I would have expected 2-3 weeks as I must be at least 4 weeks pregnant?

Do you think my hcg is low and I am therefore going to miscarry or should I just chill the fuck out and step away from the pee sticks?

Thanks v much

Im not sure but if you only ovulated 2 weeks ago - then it is very early days and hormone levels are varying for everyone, plus CB digi would then say 1-2 weeks. But pregnancy is dated from your last period so by the time you find out your pregnant you are already 4 weeks pregnant - does that make sense? So I would say everythign is fine.

the digial works out from conception rather than from last period so would make ypu two week..

In january of last year I did two cheap tests - I was throwing them away when I saw a possible feint line on one - I did a clearblue digi test when I should have been 3+ weeks since concenption and got 1-2 weeks. Dd is sleeping on me right now :) good luck.

1-2 weeks is 3-4 weeks pregnant
2-3 weeks is 4-5 weeks pregnan
3+ weeks is 5+ weeks pregnant

Its measured from conception.

Thanks everyone. Haudyerwheesht, thanks for sharing that story. Hopefully I'll be in a similar position next year.

I definitely conceived more than 2 weeks ago, but it sounds like the tests aren't exactly accurate to the day.

thanks again
