implantation bleed and timing of preggy test

Hi all,
I had (what I think was..) an implantation bleed - tiny bit of blood when wiping for 2 days and few drops of brown blood in pants. It finished last Friday. I've done a few preggy tests and all negative so wondering - am I not pregnant? Is there any chance I could be but just not producing enough hormone yet? I don't know when my period was due as are fairly irregular (just finished b/feeding so only had 3 periods since then). It's been 34 days since last period though.
Be grateful for views.... (And I have my fingers crossed!)

I'd wait a few more days and do another test. TBH It does sound like an implantation bleed, so maybe you're just not pregnant enough yet

Hi- sorry to gate crash, but i think i need your help- Ovulated D18, normal LP 11 days.
BBS really painful from 5DPO
Temperature dip 7DPO
Spotting 8DPO-10dpo
Feel rough - just like the witch coming to visit, cramping - but still have 2 days to go and temps still high - this hasn't happened to me before. DOes anyone else have a luteal phase which has changed?? Am pretty sure am not PG - just very concerned now that LP has shortened and am going to start AF early - it has just added to conception worries.
Am all of a dither this month....I just wish she would stop taunting me and arrive so I can have a bloody drink!

MrsHumphz I have had exactly the same thing but have been waiting an extra week longer than you. Brown blood in knickers 7-10dpo (not sure when I ov'ed) and brown when wiping for a couple of days after. None of normal AF symptoms except cramps which keep making me think it has started, very vivid dreams which I didn't realise were a symptom until yesterday, and a bit of nausea which I could easily be imagining.
Tested Monday BFN. Haven't tested since as don't want to be disappointed but going to test again tomorrow then go to GP Monday.
I'm wondering what on earth the bleeding was if I'm not pregnant tbh.

I had implantation bleeding starting on a Sunday pm and finishing on Tuesday am and then got a very very very faint line on Wednesday (had to compare to a test done with just water to see difference) and then by Friday had a faint line with a bit of colour.

Gosh that is quick! My bleeding was two weeks ago, 1 week after I had a BFN still and that was on a clearblue digital because I was tired of staring at them wondering whether there was a line.

Mikocukoomitten - what happened on your test?

Fingers crossed for you. And what are vivid dreams a sign of? Never heard of that!

Still nothing for me... don't think I can be pregnant but no idea what is going on.

Frootbat - sorry, no idea! I don't even know what a LP is!

Vivid dreams are apparently very common in early pregnancy. I don't know what's going on either - hopefully seeing GP tomorrow.

No advice but just wanted to say I'm in the same boat as you. I had light bleeding a week and a half ago and now on day 36 with no AF and a BFN. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

some words of encouragment. i had similar just over a week ago. took 2 tests last weekend and got BFNs. but got BFP on thursday night.

Thanks hazey - can I ask what CD you were on when you got your BFP? I am on CD 45 and got BFN this morning.

i was on cd 46 when i got BFP. i got BFN on CDs 40 and 42. And i think i must have implanted around CD 38, 39 and 40. So it was around a week after implanting that i got a BFP.

I reckon I must have ovulated betwee CD29-32. Much later than my usual days of around CD20. my usual cycle length is cd32-38

Thanks hazey The thing is, if I am pregnant I must have implanted around CD 29, because we didn't dtd often enough for me it to have happened any later and that is when I had the bleeding. If that wasn't implantation bleeding I'm definitely not pregnant. I do feel sick again this evening though.

I think implantation bleeding can happen anytime in the 1st couple of months and it can take different amounts of time till from conception to implantation -so keep you fingers crossed!

I am! Felt quite sick again this morning to the point I thought I might actually throw up.
