Just thought everyone maybe would like to know it looks a really good programme on BBC1 tonight at 9pm, start of a new series about what its like inside the human body using high tech graphics. Tonight deals with conception - I love these type of prgrammes!

Is it a tad sad that I have set sky plus just in case I can't watch it??!!

I'll just blame it on the fact that I am a scientist..... Grin

I think it goes through various stages of life including what happens when someone dies. Someone volunteered to die on tv.

Thoroughly enjoyed it - and was quite interesting - out of 250,000 sperm every ejaculation 85% are defective apparantly and as little as only 20 make it to the fallopian tube! Also said that once sperm reach the tube they go to sleep - literally for up to 5 days and then when an egg appears it releases a chemical that wakes them back up again!

Ok now I realise why I have been TTC for a year - I don't believe my body can do all that magic! And how can that woman pump out her 16th child - what the hell??
