Where the frig is my frigging period?

I came off the pill in January and have had only one natural period, on 17 March. Is it possible that I have a two month cycle?! I've been on the pill so long I can't remember what's normal!

And how am I ever going to get pregnant?! I did a test a few days ago just to be sure and it came back negative. I don't even mind the idea of having to try for a few months, I'm prepared to be patient. But it's not even like I can start charting or counting days till AF is due because I don't know when that is!! I just hate this feeling that I don't know what's going on with my own body.

Any advice, ladies? I fear the doctor might just tell me to go away and wait...

My sister came off and didn't get a period at all before she caught on her 2nd...
Maybe worth a trip to the nurse and ask for a blood test as they are more thorough than the urine preg tests...
I am horribly irregular and have just caught (thankfully) without any counting days or ov tests. Just get down to it hahaha, good luck.

They say it takes up to a year (don't panic). But your doctor should do tests after 5 or 6 months if it still isnt there. So I know its horrible, but wait until its been 5 or 6 months, go to the doctors and demand they test you, they'll know what tests to do. But hopefully it'll sort itself out by then!! I'm 9 months on after stopping the pill and I went to the docs after 5 months and it turns out I've got a thyroid problem thats stopped my periods. At least I know now!! but still.... bloody annoying
