Can anyone recommend a good book/guide - we've been ttc #1 for 5 months and we have made lifestyle changes drinking less, eating healthier etc i'm more looking for a guide on my cycle and whats going on there. I've seen Zita West mentioned on here, what are your recommendations ?

Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler...(spelling?) is the one most people rave about on MN. It's very helpful if you want to understand your cycles. Because of this book, I realised I had a slight hormone imbalance which was preventing pregnancy which is now being addressed by a gynae. Good luck!

Hi, I used zita west vitafem whilst I was trying to conceive as it had a range of vitamins that help boost fertility and alsofolic acid. can't recommend any books that would help other than saying look at fertility websites their recommendations are pretty much the same. Relaxation is the most important thing! I bought my vitamins of Pride Angel (www.prideangel.com),may be worth a look, good luck and I hope it happens sooner rather than later xx

i can also recommend Taking Charge of Your Fertility.

it's very detailed and even though i thought i was quite well informed, i learned a lot about my cycle and how to understand/chart it.
