My friend lost her fallopian tubes due to a ruptured ectopic - they had to take both as a clot went into the other and destroyed it
I have a daughter thru surrogacy myself, a friend carried a baby for me (straight surrogacy) - but my pal is looking for a Host as they have 3 ivf eggs left. She has had 3 or 4 goes at iVF but as she is now 42 they don't think her womb is giving the eggs the best chance.
I used COTS myself just for the advice but they don't really suit her as the waiting is currently so long to be matched.
She can't bring herself to talk about it openly at work and to friends so the whole friend doing it thing seems unlikely.
I know there are a few of us on here who have been both sides of surrogacy - can anyone give me any ideas on other ways of finding someone?
The whole "going to America/India" is not a possibility unless they win the lottery (or I do....) but host surrogacy is their last and only hope.
Life is so unfair isn't it?
(I've even asked my surrogate - but she 43, her job is under threat .... darn it)
