Been TTC for a few months now (already have a 3 year old DD), I'm normally really regular, to the day, with my periods. But i'm now 3 days late. I took a tesco (£3) test yesterday and it came back negative.

I'm not feeling great, but have no other signs of being pregnant. Apart from a few stomach cramps, they feel like minor period pains, and I feel a bit sick, but I tend to feel sick on the first day of my period anyway.

Any ideas, should I leave it a few days and then take another test??

Hi, Im afraid a BFN tells you nothing really - either you are pregnant and its just too early for the test to pick up the hormone level necessary or you arent pregnant. If AF is 3 days late if youre not pregnant it could mean maybe you ovulated later in this cycle than previous cycles so it wont technically be late - the period before ovualtion can vary month to month but generally the luteal phase from ovualtion to when AF is due is consistent by a day or 2 every month. Do you know when you think you ovulated?

I would test again, Im not patient enough to wait a few days I would do it tomorrow but its up to you. Good luck. Smile
