Symptoms during the 2ww- fact or fiction??

So, is it actualy possible to have any genuine pregnancy caused symptoms so early on? I wonder whether people just become hyper aware of every ache etc. Surely the hormones involved are too low to cause anything much? Is there any actual facts to back this up, or is it all anecdotal?

(not sure if i want to justify not having any symptoms, or claim my current sicky feeling is in fact a symptom Ha!)

Def possible, I had pregnant brain to the point that dh asked if i was pregnant, and morning sickness from 8dpo with dd and didn't get a positive test until 11dpo. In fact I remember glancing across at the positive pregnancy test whilst kneeling over the bog throwing up. Happy days!

Symptoms such as overwhelming fatigue and the need for frequent urination can (but don't always) start very early after implantation.

To be fair I'm.sure that's true that you can get symptoms but I tend to have phantom symptoms when ttc (had a couple of months not trying and no symptoms!). Last week I was being sick, dizzy spells, fatigue, the lot! Af was two days late, super excited but then bfn and af arrived. I think I hype myself up. I don't think I'll be able to distinguish between that and genuine early symptoms when I finally do get my bfp!
Fx for you dreaming.

My DH and I were just discussing when I felt the first symptoms when pg with DD. He has a ludicrous memory for things and worked out it was a week after we got back from honeymoon that I said my boobs felt swollen and I thought I was probably pg. That was definitely within in the 2 ww because I remember that we tested and got a BFP the day before I was due on.

I tested on day 21 of my cycle with dd and was positive. I had tummy cramps and sore boobs, constipation and need to pee frequently for approx 4 days before.
Think current sore boobs, dizziness and nausea may be phantom as I am thinking about it a lot more this time round.
