anybody got a positive result with unitest

Hi, have just tested with unitest kit (from Wilkinson)....at first looked like a negative but after about 7 minutes there is a definate pink line although not as dark as the comparison line. Was due on either yesterday or today. Has anybody else tried this brand and had success.

I have - but saying that i'd already tested with other brands first so knew it would be pos - are those ones 3 mins of 10? - it has two doesn't it? - do another one tomorrow/monday. faint pos is still a pos.

CB digital are the best for confirming.

Thanks Munz....it was a 2 pack test so will try again tomorrow morning. The instructions said 5 mins - i think it was nearer 7 or 8 by the time i read it. I will buy clear blue after tomorrow morning depending how the test reads.

how did u get on? are we or today?

Used the 2nd test this morning and again got a faint pink line but I did check within 5 minutes so looking good. Will buy a more expensive test though just for my peace of mind and probably try again on Tuesday.

Did a clearblue test this morning and got a bfp. Am over the moon and just told dh who i think is a bit shell-shocked at the moment. We have 2 ds -one who has turned 2 and the other who is almost 4 months so this is is an unexpected but very much wanted baby.

Minnie and wools, how many days before af was due did Clearblue work. I think I'm due towards the end of the week and I'm trying to hold off testing! But if they work early then I might try on Wednesday

strike I had mine 2 days b4 AF. with next to no pee at 9.30 pm at night was a digital one.

Thanks to all of you for your good wishes. Still can't quite believe it. Strike, I did actually wait for a few days after AF was due as I've been disappointed with early testing but nothing to do with the tests not working before AF due date - it was just I wasn't pregnant those other times. I think if you can bear it it's best to wait but totally understand that you may want to know earlier.

I've just done a unitest. it says very clearly that if you get 2 lines (of any shade)then you are PG. I have done it & just got 2 lines. which is great & just what I want........ except I have no symptoms at all. my boobs don't and never have ached, no sickness no real tiredness other than normal. my last period was 5 and a half weeks ago, before that 6 weeks adn before that all over teh place beacuse of the mc in Apirl. I desperatly want it to be positive but am terified it will turn out to be dodgy that the last 2 pg did.
has anyone been pg with no symptoms? am I just fooling myself? teh pg line isn't as sark as teh control line but it is defo there. I can't get excited becasue I'm too terrifed if you see what I mean

also just realised why I feel so emotional about it. The pg I mc in April was due Nov 13th. :-((

oak tree - firstly ((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) secondly big congrats thridly take yourself off to ur Dr's. my only symptom was feelin sicky - but that was only after the test- no unsure if it was nerves or real. so best bet get to the dr's today/monday and take it from there. see if u can get an early scan as well.

lol - i'm sure it will be hon but for your own peace of mind get down there and then rush back and give us the good news!

You may not have symtoms! i know i wish i had cause i felt the pregnancy was real.. but not everyone get them, as you pregnancy progresses you will find your boobs getting sore, turning off food etc. Hang in there and see your doc..

well the dr said it waas +ve an is boking me in foran early scan in afew weeks. so now all I have to do is act normal and keeo everyhting crossed. after loosing teh last 2 thogh I ahve to say I don't feel optimistic. thanks for teh messages of support.

Feet up and chill till your scan.. I MC last year and i am 8 months PG now.. So there is always a little hope.. but you will be on edge till scan.. Please post and let us know when you have your scan..

Congrats Oaktree...I too don't have symptoms and this is my fourth pregnancy. Apart from the first one - I have never felt pregnant. Wishing you all the best.
