Is it always obvious if a condom splits?

Sorry if this is the wrong topic.

I am still breastfeeding my 8m pretty much on demand, although he doesn't really feed through the night anymore.

DH and i use condoms (on the rare occasions)

I have had 2 periods since having DS, one very light just before 6m, one heavy just before 7m, 6wks on and i have dreadful pmt, cramps and generally feeling a bit crap and run down (i tend to be borderline anemic)

We are very careful, and have not noticed any condoms splitting. I am going to get a test today, but i'm not sure how likely it is [cconfused]

Because I have got pregnant twice using condoms, but they were because we took the risk of waiting to use the condom until we thought it was fully needed. You can get pregnant off pre cum.

IME, it is obvious if one splits though (serial contreception failure veteran here...)

We are very careful with condoms now (DC1 is a result of fooling around when it should have been safe!)

I have got some of those little strip tests, done 2, both negative and if i was pg i would be around 6weeks so not too early to test.

I have been getting some serious hot flushes though, so the old hormones are up to something!
