CBFM question - please help

This is the first month that I have used the CBFM.

Cycle started on the 1st April. I had several high's followed by 2 peaks on the 16th and 17th April. I have had enough blood loss today to be certain that AF has arrived and yet the 'M' has not started to flash on the monitor. I suspect this is because the time between ovulation and AF starting has been unusually short - 10 days if counted from 1st peak

My cycles are vary. Typically 25-32 days. Im 39 years and have children. Many years ago a fertility/IVF consultant advised that I must be of very high fertility since my DH had a v. low sperm count.

Just wondering whats happened this month and why m button has not flashed at all. last cycle was 28 days. This is the 1st time iv used a predictor type kit

thanks

Hi, you can still press the m button without it flashing to reset to day one. It generally won't flash before day 28 unless you have a few months info stored on it to show regular shorter cycles. It is very positive that you had peaks on your first month of using!

We have a clear blue fertility monitor support group (now on volume6) if you have any other questions - many experts there! HTH

It take a while for the monitor to figure your cycles out. So if you have only just come on then you will press the M button tomorrow morning which will then give the machine more information for next cycle and the 'm' might appear earlier.

Thanks for your replies. Having done lots of googling I am concerned whether I have a short luteal phase though. I would never have given this a thought due to having children and this has only just become a possible issue having used an ovulation predictor kit for the first time ever.
