I was told exactly the same thing. I also had helica treatment just before getting pregnant with ds1. I was terrified I'd be infertile. I told everyone I only wanted one child as I couldn't bear people asking if I was going to have another. I was told by my gynecologist that it would take me up to 18 months to get pregnant. Anyway it took me one month to get pregnant with ds2 as we weren't really trying and I was relaxed. It took 3 months with ds1. I also have an inverted uterus so it's harder for the sperm to get to the egg, I think the cervix is like a speed bump! Just forget about getting pregnant and have a reasonable amount of sex! Good Luck!

yes, two laparoscopies, one laser treatment and two children. second child took 1 evening to conceive. had the discussion, that night got pregnant.

Thanks for asking the question, Laurab21, i'm in the same boat- was diagnosed about 10 years ago now- Have been TTC since December with no luck although was "due" (its so hard to tell as my cycle varies from 30 days to about 46!!!) last Tuesday... have done one test (on Friday) and a bfn but still no period so thinking positive thoughts!!!
