Hiya,
New to the boards. Wondering if anyone had any reassurance they can offer me.
Became pregnant with my first baby just before Christmas. We'd only been trying 2mths so DH and I were overjoyed. I had my 12wk scan and they said all was fine.
Week later, I was in pain. Went to A&E (maternity unit refused to see me as I wasn't 16wks yet). No visable bleeding. They scanned me and saw fluid on my side and said it was probably a burst cyst even though there were no other cysts visable but baby looked ok.
At 15wks I woke up in agony. DH called an ambulance as I was mooing like a cow and passing out. They gave me the big old lap cut! Turns out the pregnacy was heterotopic whh means it wasn't in the tube but was situated over it at the weakest part of the womb. I lost the tube and have damage to that part of my womb. Doctor said I can conceive again in 3mths but I will have to have a C-section 3-7wks early depending on my condition as my uterus won't take strain of full term.
Can anybody offer me a happy ending to a similar story? TBH I'm beside myself with the worry of bring a premmie baby into the world more than anything!
