Digital OPK help please

I have previously used cheapy Tescos or Wilkinsons opks, with mixed results - sometimes I would get a clear positve, some months not. (One month I didn't, and got pg, so I know I am ovulating, but I mc at 11 weeks :(). So this month I invested in some cb digital tests. I am day 12 today, and I've got loads of ewcm, yet I haven't had a smiley face yet. I've been using them first thing, as it says to do in the leaflet, my question is why can I use fmu for these tests, but not for the 'line' style ones? I have always previously used them either mid morning or mid afternoon.

How long is your cycle? CD12 might be too early for you to ovulate yet. I used the cb digis too and only ever got a smiley face on the day on OV, so it still might be early for you. Listen to your body too, EWCM is a really good sign that your body is gearing up for OV Also some women have a really short LH surge so it might just be that you are missing it. xx good luck! xx

I use the digis but around 2pm because of everything I have read about the surge building through the day. That said, the first month I did try them with FMU and still got a positive.

Thanks for replying. I don't know how long my cycles are any more, before the mc they were 28 days, I got positive opks between day 12 and 15. Since the mc (in feb) I haven't had proper cycles, I've had periods every 3 weeks. I'll just have to keep testing I guess!

I agree - just keep testing. I've been using OPKS for 4 months and have got positives between days 12 and 17. I am currently on CD 15 and no sign of a smiley face yet this month!

Hi all, I got a smiley face on day 7 (seems very early) but none on day 8... is it normal just to get one? I know the instructions say to stop PingOAS when you get a smiley, but as it was so early I thought I'd continue!!!
