strange bleeding...

Hi, I wonder what people think might be going on with me! cos I don't have a clue

We have been TTC for about 5 months and my cycles are normally v regular (28d), but this month I started spotting about 7 days before AF was due.. TMI.. DH and I were SWI and it was after this that it started. It was brownish at first, but then went more reddish over the days. At first I was excited, thinking it may be implantation... but now 5 days have passed I am still spotting :( I do usually spot before AF, but only 2-3 days before, so this is really unusual for me, and a bit worrying.

do you think this is worthy of a Drs appointment, or does this sometimes 'just happen' ?

I guess until AF shows/no shows I don't really know what is going on, so thought I would see if anyone else sometimes experiences this.

No experience but saw your post had been unanswered, it could just be that you have irated your cervix with dtd and your af maybe on its way, or you may be pregnant, I had spotting with both my previous pregnancies. Could you get a test today as it may show, good luck hope you get your bfp :)

Yes, prob best to test before going to the docs. When is af actually due? doubt you'll get a Gp appt til Tuesday now.

thanks for your replies.. AF showed up today. I guess I will just wait to see what happens next cycle. Hopefully things will settle back down! it is annoying because now my AF will come while we are on honeymoon next month! argh, it is like my body has done this to spite me for some reason!! oh well...

Or thinking postively you may not get your AF on your honeymoon and then come back to a BFP!!!! Congrats and good luck on your big day :)
