Fed up...

Had my Mirena out in June 2010. Fell preg in Oct 2010. MC :( in Dec 2010. Laparoscopy (unrelated to MC and scheduled before pregnancy, but which ended up having to also include and ERPC :( ). Been TTC again, ever since MC, but nothing. Period has arrived, 2 days late today. Had my hopes up AGAIN. Is it worth going back to the GP? After my laparoscopy, the doc said there was no prob he could see that would hinder conception. Have not yet tried OPK. Are they reliable? Do you use them every day? Getting really fed up, plus feel selfish about it all, as already have 2 DC, but can't help wanting another.

I've been trying since June too, I also had a mc in feb at 11 weeks so I understand your frustration! I've had a scan and my ovaries look good, my dh has had a sperm analysis that was okay, so we're just going for it and hoping! I use opks with mixed results - the first few months I got clear positives, the month I got pg I didn't but obviously still ovulated! This month I've switched to digital ones, no smiley yet but I 'feel' fertile today if that makes sense so I might do an extra one later. I don't think it makes much difference though, we still dtd regularly, I just like to know that I've ovulated, particularly because my cycles have been messed up since the mc.

It's a pain isn't it? Am feeling crap todayand keep thinking I want to just stop bothering, but I don't mean it.
Am going to get some digital OPK's when I get paid, I think. Do you use them in the mornings?

They are cheaper from amazon. I do mine first thing because with the digi ones you have to have not peed for 4 hours which I would find impossible during the day! I don't know why they are different to the lines tests though where you can't use fmu, if anyone can enlighten me please do!
