Help with the contraceptive pill and possibly pregnant?

I started back on the pill last month because my periods were really really heavy and the gp suggested that this could help, I am not very good at taking the pill (always miss some) any how i have missed 5 pills from my pack, the pills are to be taken for 21 days on my 7 day break we did the deed on day 24, I am now on day 27 should i have my period as surly my bleed was ment to start? I am so confused.

I think it depends where you missed them and whether your are supposed to carry with your pill if you miss any, I would think the fact it was your first month back on it you would be more at risk if you missed any and had unprotected sex, I always had problems taking the pill but i'd been on it for over a year and never fell pregnant :( lol
I would see the gp to see if there's any other contraception you could use so that you don't end up worrying every month
