Yasmin - bit of help please.

I have just started on Yasmin (pill) (after being on microgynon and then the complete clusterfuck that was implanon (implant))and am somewhat confused.

I started in the green section on a Tuesday. Am now on the last Tueday in the yellow section. I have three yellow section pills and three green section pills to go until this pack is finished.

The weird thing is I just started my period.
So is my body overreacting with all the differnt hormones or did I start yasmin incorrectly or is this what happens on yasmin? According to my period tracker app I am meant to start today.

So what is wrong?

I dunno about all this green and yellow bit stuff of which you speak - never had that when I was on Yasmin.

Did you start Yasmin on 1st day of cycle, or did you not have a period after implant? I would say it sounds like your body is confused from the hormonal changes.

I was on Yasmin for years (not coloured though, don't know about that) and my body just went ahead and had the period when it wanted - I have a 26 day cycle. It always used to worry me (though clearly not enough to talk to a GP about it or anything) but I conceived DD within 6 weeks and have just come off to try for no. 2 (fingers crossed).

Thanks. I guess I have been so used to having a cycle according to microgynan. 28 days exactly.
I will give it another month or two to sort itself out.
