how do I search the threads here?

I am searching under the title conception but there are 260 pages. I know what subjects within conception I want to read. Do I have to go through all 260 pages or is there a short cut for me to find specific threads? And what does AF stand for? sorry to be so dumb. cheers

Top right there's a simple search button but be aware they could be very old. There's also an advanced search for more specifics. Usually the first two pages of conception are most current. hth!
