starting to feel nervous. Have been TTC #3 since December 2008 - properly trying with charting etc for about 15cycles.

My bloods ok & DHs sample ok. I had my left ovary & fallopian tube removed in 2007 after a dermoid cyst and have suspected bowel adhesions as I have a lot of pain every month on the day my period starts (doubled over with severe bowel pain and taking tramadol)

anyway, the letter arrived yesterday morning and we are off to see the consultant Tuesday 3rd May. Feel sick with nerves. I know they are doing a transvaginal scan (had one before) but I think its just hit me the enormity that I have secondary infertility and we aren't eligible for treatment because I have two children.

So sorry to hear and hope it will all go OK.

Hope it will be ok and that you will get some good answers.

I have one child and we are having some IVF treatment, we have never been eligible for NHS treatment, due to my age (had my daughter at 39) so I know it is an expensive business!

I post on the assisted conception thread and also on one for over 40s.

If you do end up having any assisted conception treatment and if you wish to join us on the assisted conception thread, please do.
